8 RespuestasI wasn't a big poster in Vanilla. I only checked the forums briefly for news/updates, and didn't really start posting until the TDB/HoW era. But I remember the debates that broke out. People claiming that starting the nerf train would cause a trickle into an endless downward spiral of nerfs. Others thought people were just being paranoid back then, but it's turned out to be exactly what has happened to the game. It is unfortunate that it has worked out this way, but its hard to get the toothpaste back in the tube once they have squeezed it out. So I can see where they need a full reboot with D2 in order to fix some of these issues. Honestly, this is just more of a clear indication that Bungie has no clue what they are doing.

I loved reading these again, such great feedback that definantly deserved to go further than just words on a forum. I love this game, it can provide such a high playing.i just wish after 2.5 years i felt more powerful and like i progressed

I predict - Jug shield will still be as annoying as fck - with skip grenades equally as annoying. Lightning slap will still be the best sniper rifle in the game and axion bolts the easiest way of recovering life. Let's also get a sneaky peaky at that sneaking suspicion. Shotguns are getting the raging bull treatment and battered. Hopscotch pilgrim is going to beast after the amount of times they have dropped lately <

9 RespuestasIf you had "predicted" that bungie would just let the game rot into stagnation with the same weapon balance for over s year and a half causing the player base to say -blam!- this game... I'd be impressed. Seeing as how you didn't... there is nothing in any of those posts that the community itself didn't see coming. It became an obvious trend until they basically abandoned this game and swindled more money out of us with rise of iron, knowing we were looking for change and they... kind... of did? Not really though... so, I guess good job?

10 RespuestasSorry, but I'm going to have to rain on your little "I'm an oracle" parade here for a second. You do make some good points but the fact that you have given some careful thought into analyzing this game isn't news. Regardless, anyone with half a brain could have predicted that this forum community would always whine about nerfing something, fusion rifles have been made great again, and dropping player counts are at least as much due to lack of content. Plus I simply can't ignore these bits: - You thought the Vex was fine as it was? It outgunned LMGs. - Thorn is also fine? lolno - The subclasspocalypse never happened (minus sunsingers, which at least got a big buff in PvE to ease the fall a bit), what did occur definitely had nothing to do with mayhem, and was virtually isolated to PvP as subclasses are much better overall in PvE now.

2 RespuestasOne of the fps giants had a balance problem at the beginning of the game life cycle. At the time the company that made the game tried to hard to please everyone eventually devastating the game losing over half of its player base. This happened about ten years ago. The company decided one thing after all the nerfs and balance changes. After being called incompetent. Bring all weapons within milliseconds of each other. Bring fall off damage to near even across the board. Today the company thrives and still listens to its players but not to much. I know you have an idea who I'm talking about if you were around when this happened. People make jokes and insults saying go play that other than Destiny. Destiny is in that direction. They tried to rewrite the book on balance but like usual. History likes to repeat itself. So, it's a good idea Destiny 2 or whatever it's called will be a fresh start. A whole new balance. Hopefully they won't try to please everyone and just do what they want to do as creators.

I was a Auto Amadeus before that damn nerf I can't even use the Doctrine of Passing even a little bit. It does about as much damage as one melee after spraying them for ages

3 RespuestasEditado por Racebum: 2/1/2017 10:54:58 PMif it's a minor patch and fast fire pulse is pulled down the blind perdition type will rein again. i just don't know what they will do with revolvers. right now they take the least amount of skill to use since 2 bodys and one head kill. they are already used by most the top players. if the grasp and dragon are dialed down they need to make sure hand cannons don't dominate {again} shotguns are a non issue. there is little they can realistically do besides limit ammo and honestly with the long ttk of this game fewer shotguns just means slower more campy boring play. it would however give a certain weapon it's time in the sun you could say it would be time to change the channel i do hope auto rifles get a buff. specifically high impact. they need a 1.5x multiplier and more stability. see how that plays for a bit. put a y1 suros against the clever dragon and see how it plays out hate even seeing taken king posts {looking above}. such a sad time in the game...grr

Back then my forum participation in the forum amounted to the recruitment forum, calling people out for being dickheads on the feedback forums (it was a thankless task), rubbing my g-horn in the faces of those who were dying for those, laughing at those hoping for Xur to sell G-horn, and overall being a sarcastic jackass... sprinkled with the occasional true feedback post that never gained any traction. I was about to type "man, things sure have changed for the better in regards to my participation".. but that would be a lie. I miss those days.
