Is that a setter?
-
Springer spaniel. She's gorgeous and very placid for a Springer.
-
She's very lovely! Lucky that she's pretty calm. I love dogs. I hope your friend and his pup are very happy and suited for each other.
-
https://imgur.com/a/Fo2pr I love dogs too. Do you have any? Here's a pic of Daisy my little JR.
-
Aww so cute! She looks lively and fun. Haha I would never pass up an opportunity to post a picture of my doggo. I've had dogs all my life, but the dog I have right now is very special to me- he and I were just meant to be best buds. My Eddie goes everywhere with me and terrifies the neighbors lol.
-
Wow he's stunning. He looks like a Japanese Akita? Lol shame about your neighbours! It's great you can take him everywhere with you, dogs are such good company.
-
Yes, he's an American Akita actually. 😊 They're bred a bit different/for different qualities but they have the same origins. He's the silliest puppy ever and he solicits hugs without shame. It's not a shame about the neighbors really, I don't live in a great neighborhood so I count on him being tremendously intimidating to kinda keep people off my property.
-
Ah ok. I didn't know there was an American breed. He does look really cuddly 😊 I was being sarcastic about the neighbours, I've got a couple of those I wouldn't mind terrorising with a big dog! I'd love another big dog but I'm at work all day so it wouldn't be fair. Daisy is kinda used to it, although I'm sure she'd love the company.

Makes sense. I'm very fortunate that Eddie is a very low-key dog with very limited exercise needs. He has a really powerful muscular body haha so it takes a ton of energy for him to move it around. I come home on my lunch breaks and play in the yard with him and it works out great. Most people consider American Akitas and Japanese Akitas the same, though they are not. Interesting read, I had no idea there were two quite separate breeds, thank you :) I now have dog envy!
