IB is awful
Every single game dominated by lag and shotgun suicide runners and campers... worst I've seen it in a long time.
Edit: to add insult to injury the news update has a picture of a guardian with a matador aimed at you. Seriously??
Edit: you would think with millions of players all paying $30+ at minimum for this product and considering its general success, that bungie could afford a modest 10 story high rise in downtown Seattle to house dedicated servers for their game??? Hahahaha...

I can only really tolerate one or maybe 2 games in a row. Not the connection or any of the guns, that's not an issue. It's just BORING. Then again, I started destiny in september 2014 so yeaaaaaaaaaa, i would think i should be burned out. Even if i never play pvp save for iron banner.

Weird, on my Destiny tracker this past week my KD is increasing. I'm using either the first curse and winged word or the distant star with the queenbreakers on my gunslinger.

Well, it's CLASH, so no objectives to hold or crests to capture. What I've mostly done is equip a good scout, then stay to the rear and just pick people off. They can't shottie-charge you if you obliterate them from 50 yards away. Also, if they get close, you can use Last Word or a fusion rifle, either will shut down a Matador-charger before he becomes a threat.

The sad part is that I'm numb to how terrible PVP is in this game now.

I went year 1 on everyone's ass this week. Hawkmoon/sniper rifle and I was poppin heads like crazy. It was actually really fun putting down the matador and clever dragon. Sucks hawkmoon can't snipe anymore but it still is the best feeling primary

3 RespuestasGood post and nice stats! One of PVP's biggest problems is that previous meta gets nerfed to the ground so that the new meta is your only option. Matador would still have been very good (ahem, balanced) without ALL the sniper nerfs, and the added clever dragon hi-cal flinch buff. No one uses a sniper unless its no land beyond. PVP is all run and gun,slide shotgun. Sure there are counters for most things, but you are basically fighting the meta, and not necessarily using the weapons and play style that you prefer. I prefer to use doctrine and sniper... not a very competitive option... but its fun _for me.

Bungie is masking its connections i see heavy lags and skip scenes even when all bars are green... Destiny is so bullshit because of the issues... Then we had an IB match with 3 vs 6 all the way and nobody got to join our team. So fcking dumb.......

11 RespuestasDestiny PVP is built on peer-to-peer: lag (Latency) will always be there. Bungie recolored red connections green, but, your experience says: still red, laggy, immortal, no change. I play IB/PVP only if there is something I want. I can tolerate it for that reason. The gear this run I already owned from other game drops: I trashed then immediately. In the end: play it if you can tolerate the lag, it's not going away! IMO: Destiny has the 'best fit' player experience in a FPS to date. That said, it has flaws they are trying to remedy. The primary flaw, IMO, was creating a shooter then making good guns a bad thing! Instead of demanding players up their game, they dumbed the weaponry to the level of the complaining. That's when Destiny died. But, who knows: there are always AED's on walls in malls, someone may pick one up and which this game back to life!
