Permissions to access online multiplayer error
Hi, I've been playing most of the day. Jumped off for an hour and since then, I'm unable to pick my character without the attention screen popping up and notifying me that my multiplayer gameplay may have changed on my profile. I've checked and nothing has changed. I've reset my modem, router, and ps4 several times and still attention screen at character select. Any help?

I can verify that when I shutdown/log out of my primary PSN account on the PS3 I can then get past character selection in Destiny on the PS4. The PS3 doesn't even have to be running anything to block access to Destiny. Once it's off or on a different account I can get right in to Destiny. Any word from Bungie on when they will fix this?

Getting the same. Just tried updating ps4 software to 4.07 and didn't change anything. Hopefully this will be fixed by xursday.

It's widely occurring on XBox One accounts as well, even for those who don't own a PS4. Although re-booting ones router and/or console may give the impression it solved the issue, at least temporarily, in reality it doesn't since the issue does not lie with ones equipment, their ISP or anything of the sort. This is an infrastructure issue, not an end user problem. I've seldom had an issue that was due to my equipment or connection. Yet I had this happen last night at the end of an Iron Banner match. I saw the 'Your permissions have changed' error and could not connect to the server and the rewards did not drop until I exited and re-started the game. I did not reboot my console or anything else. Therefore, in this case at least, I find it a little insulting to have it implied that it's on our/my end and we/I should follow basic trouble shooting procedures, rather than a statement which acknowledges there is an issue and that work is being done to resolve it as soon as possible.

2 RespuestasEveryone having this problem, one questions ... How many playstation 3's and 4's do you have? It seems if you have a PS3 that is logged into your playstation account (kids watching Netflix?) this error happens. I turned off my PS3 and was then able to log into the game from my PS4. Best guess, Sony made a change to the PS accounts. Once you are logged into Destiny, the PS3 (or any other play station) can be used normally again.

1 RespuestaHappens when I try to log in with my vita. Get booted at the character selection screen. If I turn my vita off and log in at my ps4 it's fine. Seems they broke something with the account verification in the update.

If someone else is logged into your account (like in another PlayStation) shut that off then log in. Worked for me.

This has happened to me as well. I even deleted destiny from my PlayStation and re downloaded it and it still doesn't work. Please fix this bungie

They need to fix this ASAP, I have been playing Destiny since the Alfa came out and bought every single expansions for me and my son. Plus Iron Banner is going on right now and I need to play with my clan

Me too. If it's cause my kids are playing on their systems too, and I can't get on mine at the same time, when they're not even playing the same game as me... Dumb!!!! Fix please, it's IB week and my time is limited as is without nonsense interfering.

1 RespuestaI was playing all last night but this morning could not log in due to this error. My sons PS4 is in NY and I work in FL so i suspected that this was the issue. But even troubleshooting from his console did not help the situation.

Young; I had the same problem and could only get back to the game the next day. This is the second time that this happens to me and curiously after an update made by Bungie to "fix" the game.
