now hear me out on this everyone talks about how great year 1 this and that and i have to say it was great but the meta were in now with clever dragon/matador/mida/lastword which is bullcrap for the most part the only way fix it is simply put everything back to the way it was i dont think anyone would complain like sunsinger is useless besides self res/ gunslingers throwing knifes and trimpmine dont work like they used to, stormcallers are to easy to kill, blink its clutch like it used to because people should be punished for there action with just running up with shotguns killing everyone, striker titans were never this strong from what i remember there to op because other classes have been nerfed and cant compete to put everything back arc bolts firebolts everything shoot even the duration of burn.
Make the crucible great again

3 RespuestasEditado por YourVillain: 1/14/2017 2:06:53 AMIt's kinda difficult to figure out exactly what you were trying to say with no punctuation but I'll give it a shot... Things are not worse than they used to be. It has become progressively better overall. There are definitely some small tweaks that could be made to improve the overall state, especially PvP. Regarding clever dragon and the such I suggest this... https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/219769325/0/0

12 Respuestasnerf all grenades except the ones that suck

Arcbolts would be good again? Hm...

2 RespuestasSunbreakers would dominate everything

2 Respuestasall I can say is last word is by far not the meta....and the gun sucks...
and come to think of it last time mida was popular was back in August
I'd rather they get rid of nerfs and keep the buffs.

You seem to have made a typo and said clutch rather than crutch

2 RespuestasWhat is wrong with you, if you want everything op go and play COD.

4 RespuestasTHEY CAN NOT BALANCE THE PVP IN THIS GAME BECAUSE IT ALSO MUST WORK IN PVE WITH DAMAGE. THEY DIDN'T SEPARATE THE TWO. IT WILL NEVER BE BALANCED. MAYBE D2. STOP WASTING YOUR TIME CREATING POSTS WITH WAYS TO FIX THIS SET UP. IT HAS TO BE COMPLETELY REDONE HONESTLY.

While I agree with you on putting back all the subclasses expect sunbreakers and nightstalker back to how they were (if you are insulting me it cause you are forgetting about infinite hammer and quiver glitches) we would if to keep the bloom on hand cannons to stop them being op.

15 RespuestasEditado por blade329: 1/12/2017 3:33:25 PMFirst of all, nobody outside of the hard core crowd wants this. Secondly, Bungie isn't going to do this, so it's a pointless argument. This nostalgia for the failure known as Y1 is pretty funny.

13 RespuestasEditado por iSlival: 1/12/2017 6:11:07 PMThe weapon changes are most likely going to happen in the (hopefully) near future. But I have a lot of doubts about subclasses getting changed. For one, the striker subclass still has as much power as it did back in Y1. It's the weapon meta thats making them seem so OP since it has superior grenades and super ability for the playstyle that this current meta supports. Secondly, I have never really seen where all the distress came from when the hunters got changed up. It was completely reasonable for the tripmines to get nerfed (maybe not their damage). And the throwing knives seem fine to me. But I don't play hunter so do explain what was wrong with the throwing knife change. Finally, need I remind you that stormcaller as well as sunbreaker and nightstalker was never in Y1, So for it to be changed back to "Y1 standards" would be impossible. Continuing about stormcallers, they seem fine where they are at besides their melee range with amplitude. If they seem to die too easily for you then you are just utilizing that roaming super wrong. It is meant to be an aggressive super but not too aggressive, you have to be somewhat in your targets face in order to hurt them while also keeping the range that the super can attack from in mind so you don't end up being in optimal shotgun range while also using movement (whether it be ionic blink, or strafing) to keep the target from hitting you. As for the changes they made to Sunsinger, I feel that it was a tad excessive. Them changing the time for the grenade to hit was the tipping point on making firebolts a balanced grenade or a crappy grenade. And my only question about the change to the Viking Funeral perk is: Why did they not make the "increased damage taken" effect from burning equal to that of the sunbreaker's?

I'd like them to buff everything back to HOW standards with the fusion rifle buff

2 RespuestasI think if most primary archetypes were buffed then there would be more weapon diversity, but subclasses are fine. Sunsinger is still a decent class, and I think year one subclasses would have much less subclass diversity.

4 RespuestasYear 1 crucible was about as bad if not worse then it is now... If you gave thorn its year 1 usefulness then youve just given everyone a 2 tapping handcannon because thorn is now available frim shiros bounties not to mention shotgun stats would go back... Meaning more nerf hearders calling foul on that. Snipers in the 1k stare family would go back to dominating lanes, vex would win nearly any gun fight.
-
Your meta list 4 different weapon types. This is the first time we ever had that many options.

36 RespuestasEditado por Aciurgy: 1/12/2017 3:29:30 PMNerf snipers, they're to op and I keep getting sniped out of my super and 1-hit bodied by a devil's dawn

They would also need an additional general buff of 25% damage overall to compensate for the fact that minion HP was buffed going into TTK.
-
All we would see is Vex Mythoclasts lol. At least it would kind of make VoG relevant, since everyone would be trying to get it that didn't have it.

storm too easy to kill?

10 RespuestasNo thanks. Everyone always talks about how great year 1 was. I'm a day 1 player and have never taken more than a week away from he game. The things about year 1 that were really great were things that most people hated. The low exotic drop rates, the grind to get to max level and even the fact that it was more difficult to get amazing legendary weapons. I liked all those things, but the casuals players hated it. They wanted everything for as little work as possible. Even now, you see streamers wanting to be able to re roll weapons etc.. in short, they don't want to grind for gear. I like the grind. That being said, what sucked about year 1 is that everyone ran the same load out, Fatebringer or VoC, Black Hammer and Gjallarhorn. I'm glad they did away with primary burns. It really made other guns worthless. I also hated the Thorn, Hawkmoon, TLW crucible. It sucked. My suggestion is that they make 1or 2 exotic primaries with a burn. We already have Zhalo, make No Time to Explain Arc burn, make Boolean Gemini and the Khvostov Solar, make BadJuJu and Jade Rabbit Void (or some other combination). Then, you have choices to make when doing a nightfall or strikes. Do you want to use an exotic primary? IMO, it would make other rocket launchers and LMG's more valuable etc... I like options. I hate everyone running the same thing.

1 RespuestaI feel like because everything would be so OP, by the definition of the meta, it would be relatively balanced. While it is better to have a useless weapon than an OP one, I think it'll balance out. Vex would still melt, but so would Thorn, The Last Word, Suros Regime, and 1000 Yard Stare. So would many others imo. In this meta, I think the ram would be the best lock helm.
