Just bought the Year One Edition with all dlc for only 12 dollars. I remember playing the trial on 360 and it was pretty fun, just never thought about buying it. What are you guys' thoughts on it?
Quick question: is there an official way to save? Im not exactly sure how to do i just initiate an action that makes the game say saving then i quit.
Edit: ive gotten into the game and its great, i dont need anymore tips. Instead share your greatest stories on the game.

Amazing. Can't wait for the sequel. 4 player co op is exactly what they game needed.

It has everything I ever wanted in a zombie game
-
I like it, but personally I don't think I'll be playing it often

Good game, especially with all the add ons. Can be quite the challenge though. Just.. don't go around looking for a fight. Stay hidden and remember that crouching in bushes will hide you.

Buggy and dumb AI.

3 RespuestasThinking about picking it up.... On another subject, do you remember that girl I was with last Tuesday? You know the one, she kept screaming your name, anyway I lost her number and well.....

2 RespuestasI love state of decay. I had a lot of fun playing through it, and I can't wait to try out the multiplayer version coming out. As for saving I believe all you have to do is walk into your base and it auto saves.

1 RespuestaI also just bought it(heck of a deal). Never played it before either, so I'm also curious what others thoughts are.

Its the kind of zombie game I always wanted and each time I play it, it sucks me in for hours.

It's an actually survival game not the comical ones like dead rising or left 4 dead where just laying waste to everything with ease Also permadeath I would love to see a triple A version of this game

It's great. I enjoyed trying to create a self-sufficient fortress as I searched for decent weapons for every survivor. My biggest worry on the other hand is that the resource consumption may occur in real time, so the game would probably need to be finished over the course of a week if you intended to minimize casualties.

The best zombie game. The best zombie game.

1 RespuestaVery good. Player through on steam. Loved to make like a 70 year old lady cut zombies in half with a zweihander.
-
Very solid game. Small, but that's why it was only $20. Very difficult at times but excellently done.
-
Played it on the 360. I liked it but never got the DLC

Never played it. Seems interesting and like an actual zombie survival game, not an action game with zombies.
