i feel like most of year 3 i have been matched up with pretty good people, even sweaty people, almost every game. i am in no way saying that i am good or sweaty, but i used to get a decent amount of wins every week.. now? very difficult to go flawless, for me at least.

3 RespuestasLess people means more of a sweatfest ~TheGreatNike

The issue is the amount of people playing is declining drastically week after week and it's slowly getting to the point where only the really good players are playing. There is a graph just posted on Reddit about it.
-
Has to be. I don't play anymore, which means no more free kills for all of you. Lesser players have abandoned the game mode, especially since gold packages don't reward new loot. Not even a grind to do anymore. So yeah, when crappy players leave, the average bar is raised, so it becomes sweatier.
-
2 RespuestasThe issue is that people are elo farming the first 3-5 wins. As well as the people who are trying to go flawless/ scarab being on 6+ wins. Thus seeming like every match is difficult.
-
I don't notice a difference.
-
Trials always gets sweatier during content droughts because the casual players turn to other games and so the only players left are the competitive ones who play trials because of its competitive nature.
-
Shit people sweat their balls off in regular crucible I can only imagine what trials is like.
-
I voted yes. The main reason it's gotten sweetier was because of the changes to matchmaking and the amount of people making money doing recoveries and carries. I have friends who make about $300 a weekend doing carries so...
-
3 RespuestasI'll be the first to admit I suck ass at Trials. But anyways, I hopped on a ticket with my 2 buddies and on our 2nd game we got matched against a team of players who all had the flawless emblem.
we got rekt
I'm not a big Trials player but isn't that stuff supposed to only happen when you're like 7-0?
-
1 RespuestaStatistically Speaking - Yes and No There were slightly less than 300,000 players this weekend in trials, which is a far cry from the 500,000-750,000 when yr 3 came out. This alone reduces the amount of average players who play in the playlist. Fewer players means the likelihood of playing better players increases. On the other hand, over 13% of the trials population recorded a flawless victory, which is higher than the average 10-11%. All this means is that yes you are more likely to play against a better player, but this weekend you're also more likely to win and go flawless.

4 RespuestasIn year three I've gotten easy flawlesses, if anything it's easier than year one
-
Over time, the lower tier players start go give up on trials, leaving more and more sweaties left in the mix.
-
If anything it got so much easier now, we can easily go flawless if we try; but we put in time to improve via chemistry and positioning and "strats" and countering other strats.
-
I love trials and routinely drag my arse in for my weekly stompings... it hurts but I'm addicted mang! Smaller player pool only hardcore players left = harder cards. Tis what it is
-
It's not what it used to be. Had some of my best times in gaming during yr 1 and 2 trials. It's unplayable for most people now . Here's to that 1%.
-
I didnt think it was possible...
-
10 RespuestasNo shit. Destiny has been out for years now... so of course the competitive crowd would be shrinking more towards the hardcore/dedicated players.
-
1 RespuestaI stopped doing Trials. It's kind of pointless now, and I don't find that it's fun anymore. Since players like me are leaving, you are left with only the really good players who stream and/or do carries.
-
Editado por AjayWilliam: 12/11/2016 1:19:09 PMPlayer base for trials is way down, so only the hardcore pvp players are playing. So some one like me who isn't good at all in that game mode don't really try to play it anymore. Like last weekend i had a 5-1 card my 2 teammate had brand new cards with out buffs, I just wanted to get 2 more wins for a chance at the fusion. But nope both matches we played we lost, but to 2 teams both on there flawless game. I'm going for 6 and there going for there 9th didn't make sense to me.
-
1 RespuestaThe shotgun plays make it feel sweatier. It's getting harder because there are a lot less playing it, leaving the better players, streamers and carries. Barely feel like playing destiny at all these days sadly. Even trials is either boring or frustrating.
-
Editado por Raider TCK: 12/12/2016 2:30:38 AMRemember we are over two years into destiny's life. And 2+ months into a fairly minor content release. The majority of people playing are not the most casual of players and it's the mostly hardcore element that remain. Not to mention on top of that trials attracts a far sweatier audience than other playlists do as its the only playlist that actually rewards being a good player and winning. On top of that people who want to play trials want to go flawless to its resulting in tough to meet LFG criterias.
-
I think it's easier year 3 than it was in year 2, obviously I've improved and are beating better teams. Sometimes it's ridiculously easy, lucky I guess.

11 RespuestasWe need skilled based matchmaking in Trials to a certain extent Does anyone agree with me on this one? I'm sure all the sweaty Trials twitch streamers will hate this idea because they need that income to pay their rent etc lol
-
Check out these guys. http://guardian.gg/en/profile/1/FlyingEagle2324/14 Check his games from after an hour ago. Something fishy is going on here!

3 Respuestas8-0 Matchmaking at it's finest found the sweaty Gods just now an ruined our card. Sad thing is they already went flawless. Only one got the victory notification. Trials is bullshit...
-
A lot of the casuals are gone. This late into a dlc when new trials gear is available...a lot of the less skilled players are stepping away. They have their full sets, no reason to play anymore. So you catch sweats early and often. I played a card on Friday night and I think we were like 4-0 with only mercy. We were going to play out the card either way. We caught 4 teams in a row with at least 2 guys of 2000+ elo. Didn't help that we were playing a drinking game as we went. So we got steamrolled...worse stretch of an asskicking I have ever had in Trials.
