So I played destiny for the first time a while back on my friends ps4 doing a mission or playing some crucible on his account. Then I turned out enjoying it enough to make my own psn account to play around with so I didnt feel like I was messing with my friends character to much. Eventually I stopped playing on his ps4 and I had bought a cheap ps3 and a copy of destiny ( along with expansions up to TTK) I made a character of each class, got them all to 40, along with nearly maxing all the subclasses on my titan and one of them on my warlock. I amassed quite a few of exotics through the use of strange coins and probably some luck. I found myself quite excited to upgrade onto a ps4 of my own and going after all the rise of iron exotics I had seen on my friends account. To my disappointment when i bought my brand new ps4 (yesterday) and a copy of the ps4 destiny collection, as well as a 12 month playstation plus subscription, and after the process of setting it up going through the updates of both the ps4 and destiny. I cannot import my 3 characters and I have no apparent option to do so. I believe this is because I had STARTED on a ps4. However I would gladly delete the characters currently on the ps4 in order to import my other characters. Is that at all possible? Am I missing something? Starting over isn't really top of my list of things to do.
