The Community has to be happy now!!!
Come on guys, we've got to be happy with what is coming with The Dawning!!
It's far more than what we were expecting. Bungie have tweaked things further to make us happy:
Along with the TWO new exotics, and the updated Year 1 Ice Breaker, we're getting three reworked Strikes, SRL and a new point scoring strike system.
AND...
If you're Level 40, green engrams automatically convert to weapon and armour materials on pickup!
AND...
The drop rate has increased for Skeleton Keys PLUS on your first completion of the Nightfall you will be rewarded one!!
AND...
If you accidentally deleted your Class specific Gunsmith Rank 2 weapon, these can now be repurchased!!!
AND....
We have the chance to get the best looking gear ever IMO!!!!
I'm excited for this event!!!

Well im excited too. I also want to make myself broke again with all the new ingame purchases. In fact i cant wait until i have to spend $50 bucks for some warlock armor.

13 RespuestasNobody was playing nightfall So they give them a key Pvp and raid people want icebreaker Have to play nightfall And still no POCKET INFINITY I am indifferent about this update Yes it's a lot more than I was expecting but still lackluster I could care less about icebreaker 2new exotics are just reskin void and solar thinderlords The changes were to make people actually play nightfall. But why only 1 key a week? Seems like a waste But my main thing is this No POCKET.... I'm disappointed

Actually the gear shown in the image you have to pay for. That gear can only be obtained through the treasures of the dawning.

I am ecstatic. They actually listened and made a good change to matchmaking. And The Dawning is way more than I thought it would be.

It's sad that year two was so crappy that people started getting exited over reskinned gear, or things that were taken away being un-taken away, like mida or ice breaker. Making grim citizen obsolete and then dropping it and other year one weapons at current light isn't releasing new content. Flooding archons forge with different colored dread explorer shells and every old class item at current light isn't new content. Besides the new ugly dawning armor (which might be locked behind an rng paywall), all of the armor is old armor reskinned with some glowing parts. The "new" exotics are reskinned thunderlord with a different elemental box ticked in the programing. This is the absolute cheapest, least time to make content, and people are excited to get icebreaker BACK. Don't get me wrong, i'm glad to see it back. I just wish it were never taken away, and someone went to the trouble to make new content, rather than old stuff masquarading as new.

1 RespuestaIt's embarrassing that we accept this as "content" tbh. Honestly it's been over two years and this game is still full of unfulfilled potential, it saddens me. You wouldn't know it now but bungie used to be an amazing developer.

If that awesome armor wouldn't come out of a box you could buy... I don't like to wear armor like that. In any case, I could care less, I am pretty excited about this update.

Sometimes I miss when consoles and games didn't get patches, updates, or DLC. When you were fine with what you bought and didn't expect more.

5 RespuestasTwo new exotics? You mean Reskinned Thunderlords that we obtain through quests instead of engrams? What a joke. The armor for The Dawning looks like trash. Skeleton key drop rate increase? What a joke that is. As long as RNG is involved some people will swim in them and others will hardly ever get to open a strike chest (just 1 a week).

Funny enough, you've been able to see medals popping up in Prison of Elder for a while now, not unlike the Strike scoring system will work. Soething fishy about that :D

5 RespuestasTbh, I was surprised and glad. I wasn't expecting any PvE content, and now we're getting some free. Anyone still complaining is just riding the "bungie sucks and killed my family!" Bandwagon so hard that their buttholes are red raw and they only taste cabbage when they eat anything.
