Is Islam a religion of peace?

2 RespuestasThere are peaceful Muslims. In fact, most Muslims that I've seen are very, very peaceful. However, their religion is very violent. I'm not saying they themselves are necessarily violent, but the teachings in their book are.

No religion was built on peace. However, the majority of the religious people of the world have integrated into modern society. Now it is just the radicals that -blam!- it up for everyone.

Yes. Sharing many common beliefs with Judaism and Christianity, it is based around the idea of peace. For some reason all the major religions are rooted in some sort violence though.
