Lol kid calls it outright lie because it didn't say what he thought was true.
Yes because you are more trustworthy than bungie random internet dude.
Kids of today have their egos padded by their parents too much, you're not important, you're opinion does not matter, and you will almost never be right.
A few life lessons to learn right there.
Edit: I include myself in this statement.
Edit 2: the down voting makes me laugh btw, every post that doesn't agree is way down, just proves my point lol.

If you a netduma then you can see where people actually live. If we go with believing the connection is the number one priority then you would have to draw the conclusion hardly anyone is playing if they are going to match up the West Coast with England. Yet another way to look at it might be when they say connection quality they have a very loose definition of what quality is. In most first person shooters latency is under 50 milliseconds. In Destiny 200 seems to be average and some games go over 500.
-
What you don't see is the searching that bungie did before that, so doesn't prove that they were lying.
-
Well if we assume they were not and we just assume it's a decline in player numbers many of us are thinking they really need to loosen up the skill based matchmaking so people have better games. Right now the skill brackets are so tight that you see many games only a couple hundred points apart
-
Honestly I don't think it's either. This is all my opinion, and as i said earlier opinions don't really mean much, but here goes: Do you remember when bungie would put you into a game close to the end? When was the last time that happened to you, and how many times recently? Not much right? Well at least for me. I think stopping a lot of that kind of matchmaking meant they went too deep in the system, I think if they exhaust all possible good connection games they should stick you in an existing game, providing you with a better chance at a good connection game and keeping players for future games.
-
Editado por Racebum: 11/18/2016 10:08:16 PMThat too. there is just evidence from every angle that connection is not really that much of a priority and or what they call a priority is a very vague term. Many of us have tried matchmaking with people who live very close to ourselves and have repeatedly tried hitting the button at the same time and it will never match us together. That is just a little bit suspect. Like you will sit in orbit forever and it still will not match you with that person
-
I wouldn't say evidence, suspicion is a better word. But yeah, they were too vague, they should have been clearer and fuller with their post or they shouldnt have done it all, I don't think they lied though, or even meant to, which also means they didn't lie lol, how does one lie if they don't know they are?
-
Editado por Racebum: 11/18/2016 10:18:54 PMNetdumas are the evidence unless you believe there is really no one else within a 4000 Mile radius . If connection really was the priority how is the west coast of the United States getting match made with England?
-
Editado por Ne0nK0ala: 11/18/2016 10:24:57 PMThat doesn't show evidence that bungie is lying, it is still very possible it searched for people close to you, or the program might be getting a different location to the game (yes that is possible because consoles, the games servers, and that program uses different tech) so until you find evidence against that then you don't have evidence frankly.
-
Ip addresses can be traced to an address. That's how netdumas work. How exactly can this be faulty? If you're arguing that there was no one else in a 4000 mile radius then you have to accept the fact that hardly anyone is playing. Which one do you believe?
-
Editado por Ne0nK0ala: 11/18/2016 10:34:38 PMBecause ip addresses are not always a spot-on location that's why. Of six services I just tried, only one gave me the city of my ip address, the others where on the other side of the country, but I live in the UK. If you have a big ISP that will be even harder to locate and for good reason, ip addresses are not supposed to be trackable, all you get is a rough location of were the ISP plans to use that IP, nothing else, the bigger the ISP, the bigger the location area. You can also use static IPS for telling services that you were in other countries, IPS are not sufficient location evidence. The consoles use more data than that. You give it your location already by buying one for example.
-
Editado por Racebum: 11/18/2016 10:53:55 PMif someone is hiding their ip and or bouncing it that should not even connect to the game world as it makes the connection unstable as you bring in yet another service to the mix. in the US which is the only place that matters ip's can be tracked to exact cities if they aren't manipulated. uk should team with yourself, ireland, france, holland, etc that';s it. the usa should be usa only. http://www.ip-tracker.org/ will track any non bounced ip to the exact city
-
Nope it doesnt lol.
-
How old are you? I have raised a millennial (my daughter) and I'll admit they're more narcissistic than my generation but voicing a complaint is not by any means a negative thing. Voice what you like and what you don't like.
-
Editado por Ne0nK0ala: 11/18/2016 8:29:21 PMWell I don't have to tell you that, but over 21. And I didn't say don't voice your opinion. I just said don't call other people out based on your opinion stating that they are liers without fact, and don't assume that your opinion is worth more than others. if you're teaching your kids to do that then you're teaching them wrong things mate.
-
I was just pointing out that it's not a "binary" thing, you can complain about something and not be "entitled" at all. Now, if you're lying or making things up, as you suggest, and STILL arguing? Well, lol, i don't care what age you are, that would be considered stupid. By definition. No one except Bungie knows for sure, i'll give you that. They do have a bit of a track record with being.....less than honest though. have a good one, mate!
-
Depends how you put it across. But yeah sure, you too lol.
-
MY GOD THANK YOU FOR BEING A VOICE OF REASON HERE!

This kid jajaja, it's not his word against Bungies. It's what happens in game against what Deej has to say to damage control, 0.07% damage buff anyone? Go back to school kid. You are embarrassing yourself.
-
Editado por Ne0nK0ala: 11/18/2016 7:25:14 PMLol you're one special snowflake kid. Who is Deej? The community manager. What is the community manager's job? To convey messages from bungie to the community, representing them in the places where they players hang out. Can bungie talk without him? No because companies cant talk, they don't have mouths, just people. But of course that's just Deej, he's using "we" because it's better "damage control" right? Get real kid, telling me to get back to school, you're obviously still there so hopefully you still have time to learn about the world.
-
Yes you need to go back to school, this last nonsense of a post is a perfect proof of it. I won't engage in an argument with a preteen. What I posted obviously hit a nerve a deaticle nerve I must say. Btw you are still embarrassing yourself.
-
Lol kid, you're the only one embarrassing yourself here, I'm just gonna refer to you my original statenent. It's prevalent to you in many ways.
-
Every morning my kids wake up I tell them they are the center of the universe and that other people disappear when they are not interacting with them. When I introduced them to the internet I told them it's all just a big program and that they can treat the bots writing on there however they please. 9 year deep in this goof so far, it's awesome. Their mom has no idea why they treat everyone like shit.
