No incentive to reach rank 5
Bring back rank related packages! We want loot!!
Edit: Because people seem to think I was born yesterday and play destiny with my eyes closed. Once you reach rank 5 once, there is no incentive to reach rank 5 on another character. Also if you are like me and already have a god roll clever dragon you may be uninterested in the vendor roll. Therefore, we need rank 3 and 5 packages.

Wtf is this community crying about now? We literally get the best loot on iron banner this time, better than y1 or y2... 4 packages as opposed to the crappy ornament one at rank 3 and a random armor or weapon at rank 5.. not to mention the quest line also gives a weapon. Stop -blam!-ing complaining Christ..

I only keep doing Iron Banner this week to piss off my friend, who can't get a god roll Clever Dragon, when I get multiple god rolls (I have like 3-4 god roll Clever Dragons)

You get loot for revery bounty you complete. Would you rather not get that loot and go back to getting only one chance at a random piece of gear from reaching rank 5?

I actually agree with this. Yes you get a decent amount of loot going up to rank 5 but getting a drop for rank 5 has been an iron banner thing for a while. You have always been able to buy what they are selling at ranks so not sure why everyone's getting so excited. Is it a good roll? Yes Has the IB vendor had a good roll item before and you still get a rank 5 package? Yes

Admittedly if you are 400 I agree with you that most would only play their main after getting it to rank 5... However You'll most likely get to rank 5 an your alts before you finish all the bounties so it's a wash, we just lose out on 6 rank packages.

Anything would be better than the five fusion rifles the bounties gave me last time (and a heavy machine gun), and the four sidearms the bounties gave me this time (plus a crap sniper and shotgun).... Hand cannon and pulse rifle I got from rank five last time around.... Iron banner weekly event, over and done in less than two days.....

I just played until I had completed the bounties already had the rank 5 gt the book last month

2nd Iron Banner match I played this week gave me a God roll Clever Dragon. I've had so much loot drop from ROI IB's that vault space is an issue again! I don't see an issue here.

No incentive to reach rank 5 is fine. That means once you've done your bounties, you can either play for FUN or call it a day.

Kinda true but the loots drops have been awesome so probably the fastest way to rank up all characters at the moment.

You get more loot now than you did in previous IB's. What is the actual problem?

Rise of Iron has more or less removed the grind from the game and made it too easy to get decent gear.

I got a some great rolls on a few clever dragons. Kept one and use the rest for infusion fodder. Had a great machine gun drop and kept it. Without the rank 3 and 5 packages, I'm just playing as much as possible to get infusion fuel for my other gear. Next IB it will be the same thing. Keep the best rolled weapons and gear, then burn the rest.

So far, I have gotten one Clever dragon with braced frame, high caliber rounds, and range finder. Pretty good so far.
