BUY SERVERS and STOP THIS STUPID LAG!!!!!!!!!!
NOT HAVING DEDICATED SERVERS IS KILLING THE CRUCIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!
So far the lag and latency has ruined this iron banner for me. I go from having 25 kills with a 3.5 K/D, to playing against a team of red bars and get 5 kills with a .3 K/D
ITS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE!!!
We all know you made a ton of money with Rise of iron and Festival of the COST!!!
USE THAT MONEY TO BUY SERVERS AND STOP THIS STUPID PEER TO PEER CONNECTION GARBAGE!!!
It's been an effing year!!!! Thousands upon thousands of Crucible lag complaints.

Look at how well CoD does without any dedicated servers. It's because they actually have a good match making system with good net coding. And if you still think Dedicated Servers is the answer to everything, have you played Counter-Strike: Source when it first came out? With a combination of poor net coding and low tick rate servers it was very similar to how Destiny is right now with laggy hit boxes and bullet registration problems. DEDICATED SERVERS IS NOT THE ISSUE. The bigger issue/complaint people should be talking about is better match making and better net coding.

Legendary 's whip each and every exotic, what's the point of them being exotic? Bungie u listened to all the wrong crybaby ' s to somehow arrive at this meta. wtf did you do and or oops has to be the nagging question on all of your minds. You broke everything to please some complete scrubs so they could feel and experience finally getting a kill. You made ttk so rng it gives them all an opportunity to get a little closer to you that they might, just might kill you. Cmon fix this shit 1 more time back to year 1 on all of it and leave it there.

This is the number 1 pet peeve for me with this game, just constant and unfixable latency. And for some reason, every single Iron Banner it is far worse than usual. I have the fastest connection available from the largest internet provider, with my PS4 connected via lan cable through a modern router. I have a static IP and my relevant ports forwarded. I have absolutely ZERO issues with any kind of latency or lag in any multiplayer game on my PS4, but Destiny? Its just a constant. It ranges from a small amount to an unplayable amount, but in some form it remains in every game for me.

1 RespuestaYou realize destiny isnt run on just one big server right? Its runned on a massive interlocked server farm that are 3 years old. In order to move all of destiny into a "new dedicated server" wouldnt be cost effective, time effective and we would lose the ability to play while they basically move destiny peice by peice to a new server farm

9 RespuestasEven when I play dedicated servers games I experience the same amount of latency, next to none. Actually when I play with my friends across country we lag more than Destiny depending on which server region we are playing on. Far more would be complaining if they were experiencing what you are experiencing, if you are actually experiencing it and not exaggerating.

I'm slamming on people that lag to the other side of the map and take no damage. Ghost bullets and 1 bars teleporting all over the place. This is the worst I have ever seen. They don't care they just nerf accordingly for their you tubers and streamers. If destiny 2 doesn't have dedicated servers I won't be buying either:/

crucible is no longer a game where any skill remains. its now a battle of who has the higher number of red bar ninjas who cant be shot. the more you have you win. crucible is beyond aids and I only play it for IB loot. I am near past caring about any part of this game.

The lag is one of the worst things about this game. Always getting DC'd and shots don't register, when I don't have this problem with other games. How are the Destiny servers? I wouldn't know, I am still 'contacting' them and am still waiting for a response back.

First I Nova bombed three guardians clustered on heavy ammo, two turned into lovely purple ghosts, "WHAT" I exclaimed then as he backpedaled I threw my grenade behind him, and unloaded my Monty Carlo into his face, "Ah" I hear you sigh "he must be dead now". Well NO HE WASN'T DEAD, 😖 then his team mate blew me into next week with a flaming hammer. Suffice it to say I checked and yes his connection was total red bar, I think that dedicated servers in ALL regions would cure SOME of the connection problems with destiny, and the amount of money earned by them they can easily afford to do this for Destiny 2.

I agree. The lag is really hurting my experience with the game. I tend to enjoy crucible, but it's frustrating to not have damage register or to be able to kill players on a team with a red bar (maybe they're all red barring and Destiny doesn't accurately show this). I report every single instance, but I am continually matched with people who have terrible connections or are gaming the system. I do not run into this problem in games with dedicated servers and it's really making me question where I spend my time. This is really frustrating and I hope Activision and/or Bungie opts to use dedicated servers. It's a terrible shame when you can say EA is doing something right and Bungie is not. This seems more like an Activision issue, but I couldn't say for sure. I am posting here to add my name to the feedback on this particular issue. I doubt it will be heard and acted on, but the next step is to not buy Destiny 2 if it releases and has the same setup. I don't want to do that, but there are many forms of entertainment to spend my time on and I can't see putting myself through this again. If they opt to not allow us to keep our current characters and gear as well, that would certainly be the deathblow. I am invested now, but the combination of things stacking against Destiny and Bungie with Rise of Iron are mounting and I am already playing other games a lot more than I was. I have done what I could at this point and have not supported Eververse. Where I encouraged people to pick up The Taken King last year, I am waving people away from Rise of Iron. This does not show significant improvement and, in a lot of ways, shows less respect for my time.

Nonono, pvp is working as intended: -shot through multiple walls, shots not regestering, melees not causing damage (i mean ive done 10 close melees so far, 1 has done damage!), full auto pulses (literally firing like an auto).... But bungie refuses to admit something is wrong And Derek, you can go away with your strikes which gives you worse gear then pvp

The game seriously does not recognize who is hitting who, if the grenade landed, if you are alive or dead its in shambles. They really should take assists as kills in iron banner because the game cant tell the difference and I am sick of getting the most assist each game because of latency.
