Anyone Else Not Give a Crap About this Iron Banner?
What's the point?
*I guess there are many who haven't hit max light. But from experience I can tell you...it doesn't matter. Guess I'm just feeling like whats the point of Destiny atm.

Normally IB is a blast for me, but this one has kinda sucked There's no weapon variety as I'm constantly going against 6 man fireteams of CD/matador... Which is fine but makes the actual gameplay get stale pretty fast

3 RespuestasOnce you hit 400 all you really care about is trials and challenge mode but i say challenge mode lightly because once you get 4 ornaments who really cars other than 1 meaningless run for fun a week.

1 RespuestaI've just been screwing around through most of the matches. Winning means absolutely nothing since rank-ups are worthless and post-match rewards are thrown at you constantly. Sorry if you get matched with me in Iron Banner because I'm not helping the team at all this time.

Considering I've got better rewards from losing a match, I'm not trying anywhere as much as I would, I'm completing the bounties and then not bothering after that

I have played like 4 Iron Banner matches since it came out, only because I work all day, gf only plays sometimes and when I do play for now I generally jus do the raid and challenge (failed on Tuesday - DNF) and yesterday failed it twice cause of too much damage and than did it twice...so no time really for Ib..also no quest? cmon it was fun...ok introduction over, her Grimoire card still broken....and no rank up packages,...also I already have a good Clever dragon before anyone says something....and the first test match i played we lost and got another decent roll so...kinda not into it much, last month was super fun though thanks to supremacy

Skyrim, BF1 and TF2. I have no desire to play Destiny anymore. I burnt out about 2 weeks ago. Didn't hit 400 or do WotM either. Just can't do it anymore. Took about 5 months off last fall too to play new games.

At 395 i've had 5x 400 LL drops so far! Loving it! 🖒

I'm enjoying the drop rate. Went from 391 to 396 in one day. Got some good dragon rolls, and a 399 sidearm.

I might play a bit this week to get that pulse rifle but eh. Kinda getting bored with Destiny.

I'll probably play it Sunday if I haven't been able to pick up Dishonoured 2 yet! I already have god rolls of all the IB weapons I want though.

1 RespuestaI think the current IB gear is hideous. Sad that the stats are all high enough to easily get tier 12, but I cannot stomach the looks of the armor. The weapons are all ugly looking hunks of rusty junk that appear to be cobbled together with metal cables, fur and rope.

I'm constantly being sniped through walls, spawned with the enemy group, one hit meleed in a bubble with armour of light... etc. The lag is horrendous to the point I can't enjoy a single IB game. And I'm finding that my usual post match k/d with my titan had dropped from normally 1.0-1.4l+ to around 0.4. I'm done with lag banner.

I like the IB gear looks better than raid and trials gear imo (always has) and the weapons traditionally are better aswell.

Depends, are you max Light or close to max? If so, then yeah you can probably sit out Iron Banner. Unless you need Chest, Legs, Heavy, or a Primary to be 400.

9 RespuestasIt takes all of about 3 hours to be at rank 5 (as if it matters anymore) and the gear isn't that awesome. I'm taking advantage of the drops, which took me up a solid 2 LL in just a few matches. They've made the game lame as -blam!-. It's wasn't all that great to begin with, but now everything is quick and easy and the relative content is short. Bungie isn't learning anything from the first 2 years of this game, I don't expect much more of D2.
