Xur
So am i the only one getting angry that xur doesn't sell exotic shards anymore? Because ive been running low to the point where i now have 1. I could really use som GD exotic shard there xur.
Edit: im not looking for ways to farm exotic shard. Im just stating the fact that xur hasn't sold them for a long while now. It would just be nice if he would sell them again.

Buying Exotics from Xur and Sharding them. 3oC Farming. How about Xur having a trade option for people like me with over 300 Exotic Shards in the vault, and the number increasing every day from all the Exotic Engrams that I get from using 3oC. 1 Exotic Shard for 3 Strange Coins Please.

10 RespuestasIt sounds to me like you have a problem spending 13 Strange Coins for an Exotic Shard. Which is worth more to you? 1. 5 Weapon Parts (1 Heavy Telemetry), 2,500 Glimmer, and 6 Motes of Light, or... 2. 7 Strange Coins (cost of Exotic Shard from Xûr) To me, 1 represents a cheaper material solution.

I was running low until I started getting dup's of exotics I already own. Just delete your lower lvl exotics.

1 RespuestaI'm pretty sure he hasn't sold exotic shards since TTK released. Just buy a weapon from the kiosk and level it with motes/telemetry before dismantling. Or dismantle exotics you don't use, I have yet to run out of shards ever

4 RespuestasMake sure you have around 20k glimmer (this is simple) and aquire a heavy weapon telemetry , purchase an exotic heavy weapon from the kiosk preferably a rocket launcher like truth, activate telemetry and use 5 or 6 motes of light to fully upgrade (dont waste any resources to buy perk nodes) and dismantle for a net gain of 1 shard. Repeat until your glimmer is at a comfortable level and you should at least have 3-5 shards afterwards. Every few days this 5 minute task will give you more than you will need eventually. After a couple weeks I had 50+ from this basic method. Not everything can simply be "sold" in game we need to adapt and find our own ways to best utilize the given system, that's part of why it's called a "game"

I have 65 shards. Stop infusing an exotic up just a single light level. Heck stop infusing every single exotic up.

2 RespuestasThey were suppose to be able to drop from public events and I haven't seen it happen yet for anyone. Best thing you can do is farm exotics with 3oc, fully upgrade them and then dismantle for 2 shards.
