If you whatch sounds of Destiny there is an interview with the actress that voices the Queen as well as the actress that voices Eris Morn. In the interview thay hint that the Queen will have more to play in Destiny.

3 RespuestasThe only things she ever did in Destiny were interrupt her equally lame brother during a brief cutscene, and then get rekt by Oryx during another brief cutscene. I don't remember her being epic, she didn't even cool my beans.

I have no idea. The Brother is stranded on Mars. Mara Sov is MIA. But she is alive. Expect to see her in Destiny 2 however. Honestly I dislike the entire battle with The Dreadnaught. Maybe if they added Space Combat and we had to fight the weakened ship before landing it would have been cool. Basically we got trolled by having The Awoken have actual space combat, while we Guardians have guns on our ships as decorations. Then they write out the Queen & her brother. I assume to make sure they didn't have to add them to the storyline of TTK. Because there would be NO way they wouldn't be involved in the plot. As Mara Sov seemed VERY aware of Oryx's existence and threat... That said. Mara Sov didn't lead the Awoken into a losing battle. She really had no choice. She had to stop the Dreadnaught before it reached The Reef & Earth. Oryx was NOT going to ignore her citizens. And had he reached Earth we would lose. The Traveler is still "reviving" and its light would be pushed back by the Darkness of The Dreadnaught. (Refer to Toland's notes.) She honestly saved us & gave us a fighting chance. Her forces destroyed his fleet. An ENTIRE fleet. That's no laughing matter. Sadly though...I know why folks don't see her as a badass. You have to read to Grimiore and see how The Reef Wars went. But one has to leave the game and search the Grimiore for this info. Not many people like doing that.

She had about 5 minutes of total screen time and dialogue throughout the whole game. I wouldn't really call that "epic" regardless of what happened. Her dialogue in Vanilla was average. HoW was just cliché. And in TTK, well she led the Awoken to a disastrous defeat and got a lot of them killed.

4 RespuestasI can see it now... A Guardian is headed deeper into the Dreadnought's deepest bowels. Suddenly, he sees a throne of some sort in a vast room, the kind of thing Oryx would sit on. A familiar figure sits on it. Suddenly, two Taken Knights with huge spears appear on either side of the throne. The Guardian readies his rifle, but a quick harbinger knocks it out of his hands. MARA SOV'S VOICE: "It is afraid of the Taken. It does not realize that these ones are mine." GUARDIAN: "Ah. Some things never change, do they?"
