Let me start this off by saying that this isn't a recruitment post.
I'm absolutely terrible at Trials. On account of never getting the chance to play it. Literally apart from some randoms a few weeks ago, the last meaningful game of Trials I played was back in November 2015. My KD is like 0.30 at a guess.
My question is, how do players as bad as me get a regular fireteam together to actually get some Trials practise in? All people care about is KD or getting carried by a big time streamer. I'm not into that nonsense. I want a team who can grow together and bloody well earn a trip to the lighthouse.

5 RespuestasPlay with your sensitivity on 1 for a while. After like a week of playing on 1, change it back to whatever sensitivity your comfortable with and enjoy how much better you've become :D

1 RespuestaEditado por LordOfLordran: 10/2/2016 11:12:43 AMI don't get it , the obvious answer is being carried .It's either that or they were lucky going against bad players too. Why is it so hard for you to come up with that ?

1 RespuestaWent flawless in year 1 over 70 times and only played with LFG teams. Look at my KD. No idea how I thought it was easy and most people went flawless all the time

Play skirmish for fun Actually enjoy pvp

Editado por Mr.Thrasher: 10/1/2016 7:46:13 PMJust post on lfg " I am a noob. Look for other shitty players to practice trials with. let's see how good we can do!!" Trust me. People who feel like you will join. And before you know it you will have a regular team(s) to play with. And you will be doing better each week.

Nobody on destiny earns anything anymore all these punk kids either pay to play or hack it's pathetic oh and if you use a keyboard and mouse conversion on ps4 your not good at this game lol you cheat there is a big difference you idiots!

2 Respuestaslast trials I had was 2015 and all 3 of my classes went lighthouse, both Y1 and Y2. Highest KD i had pretty sure was my hunter at 1.4. Not too great, but not bad either. The keys for this? Find a team that would be your regular each week. Soon enough you would know your chemistry with them. Im more of a distraction/assist while i have a rusher and a sniper. I dont do well by myself i dont deny that. Second, dont think about lighthouse, it'll distract you, instead focus on tactics. Third, it takes time but not long till you get the hang of it. very first week of trials Y1, i was disappointed since we will always get 5 wins each card before we get knock out. Following week, our very first lighthouse, except one guy since he got DC lost. Funny how these guys recommend MIC, I didnt use them, I have 2 others who does the call outs. 3 people talking at the same time causes a panic and miscommunication. Lastly, have fun

Editado por girflush: 10/1/2016 7:27:54 PMBasically when you talk with people mention that's what you're interested in doing. Eventually you will find some people of the same mind. And until then just go into lfg and start your own group, there used to be a casual bounty section on lfg. You can get your own practice in like that. Lots of guys in there just down to play without being all lighthouse or bust, quitting after one lost round etc..
-
Best bet if you want to get better is get teams doing bounties for your practice. If you want to practice with a team, I recommend finding a clan and talk about making a weekly trials team with clan mates.

1 RespuestaEditado por Judge_Rhymehold: 10/1/2016 7:12:12 PMBeats me! Of course I avoid people because I try not to take it seriously. Just do the bounties and TRY to have fun. Most people rage. It's just a crappy game type

The few players I used to hang with, were actually random players that I was matched with in Skirmish. We linked up in play style; smashed 2 games with a good score, we exchanged messages and played some trials. LFG isn't the best option for Trials because 99% of folk are dweebs looking for a carry, folk who request better stats than they actually possess or folks who are good at the game looking for folk who are good at the game. Continually play skirmish and elimination and message the odd player or two. Eventually it will grow. If you don't have good gun skill, then you must possess good team work and movement to avoid feeding kills to the other team. I'd rather be in a solid 2 v 3 making good plays, rather than a 3 v 3 with a bad player crippling our chances.

2 RespuestasJoin a clan that has a range of abilities and see if you can find a couple of like minded individuals to give it a go ?

7 RespuestasI can appreciate your mentality. I found a regular group on lfg. I have always had a 1.5 kdr, though.
-
8 RespuestasGet a group together and practice on elimination before trials comes out. That's the easiest practice.
-
4 RespuestasI don't lol. If I wanna play trials, I use LFG and play with them until they realize what a scrub I am and kick me. Rinse and repeat until the bounties are done.
-
If you were on Xbox, I'd send an invite your way. I'm suffering the same problem.

1 RespuestaEditado por Jkeggy: 10/1/2016 4:53:27 PMYour crucible kd isn't that bad man. I started at a .8 kd when I started to pvp. Just gotta be willing to completely abandon pve for a while. If you go back and forth from dregs to guardians you will lose some of the edge you have been gaining.
-
1 Respuestayou have to play with people an become friends with them
-
1 RespuestaI'm in the same boat man. I want to finally do it but never have because I never have a team. I'm much like you in play style, and suck at socializing as well. Haha if you're up for another member count me in to play. Win or lose I don't care, just wanna play and try. :)
-
7 RespuestasPlay regular elimination in crucible playlist if you want some practice
-
1 RespuestaWhy do people complain about elitist posts when it's just as easy to create a post looking for like minded people just be honest about your abilities if people are roughly the same they will probably join

8 RespuestasI see the MoT book has a trials requirement....wonder if it counts if you lose matches and complete the card
