If you use Sunsinger in WotM...
You should probably git gud. Self-res is a good indication of skill (or lack thereof).

1 RespuestaBait? Must be bait. Nobody that plays a Warlock could be this stupid. But just in case.... That anemic little bomb that you get to throw every few minutes is worth giving up the massive crowd control abilities of a Sunsinger wearing the Sunbreaker gauntlets? Max discipline and a primary with Grenadier means that I pretty much always have a grenade up....one that has a rather large AoE and gives a damage buff. Radiance can clear a room of adds far better than a Nova Bomb, and can inflict massive damage and provide a stacking damage boost on a boss. A Nothing Manacles build on a Voidwalker is potent, but overall the Sunsinger is better at add control and boss damage. And if you run with Fireborn, then that's just an added bonus. There are situations in which having someone to tank lethal damage is helpful (Oryx charging inside the shade, anyone?). You run whatever you want, man. If you do well with Voidwalker, good on you. It is my go to PVP subclass for sure. But unless Void burn is on, Sunsinger is a far superior PVE subclass. And just because it has the Fireborn perk doesn't mean that anyone who uses it is a scrub.

Hmm, well lets see the hunter has one damage modifier about every 2-3 minutes unless the floor is littered with orbs. The voidwalker has a killem all about the same amount of time as the shadow shot, but the sun singer with the sun breakers has two and a new one every 25 seconds would make me believe that a damage modification tool would be more useful in more situations than a one shot kill, but you can use what you feel comfortable with and I will play the team player to toss my grenades every 25 seconds to help the other players on my team. Also if a team mate dies I can be the one to get the fallen player without a problem, because I can Rez myself while getting the Rez. Can a void walker do that? No

It's only useful for death zamboni, since you can carry a part, die, then carry it again without having to wait Void walker is better for killing captains, and stormcaller is good for clearing junk ads

Would you want to wait 30 sec for revive or instant revive, or, when hard mode come out, would you want to start over if the warlock dies or have the warlock self res to keep it going

2 RespuestasViking funeral and touch of flame is like a mini tether or like melting point, but it stacks with a tether. Sunsinger is warlock support class and doing final DPS at aksis is boosted with the VF combo. Swords kill captains quicker, and the sword users pick up scorch cannons for damage rounds. Voidwalker is now for people who can't help taking tons of damage. Stormcaller is borderline useless in the final phase.

Sunsinger plus tloloc plus artefact of Socorro plus scorch shield plus solar grenades and Viking funeral and the one perk that make BURN cause the target to take increased damage...aka I now have gunslinger who can increase enemy damage take constantly, will charge everyone nearby super, can give great area denial get a shield for simple melee, has a overpowered weapon that brings out a lot of dps...oh and can self res if the shot hits the fan

That's not all it's good for. Of any Subclass, this is the only one that can deal massive single-target damage during its Super, especially with the new debuff effect of Viking Funeral. Not to mention it can survive with Radiant Skin just fine. It doesn't need Fireborn, especially since they nerfed the hell out of that ability.

The sunsinger grenades increase damage to targets on top of making them burn with vf/tof. Its a great pve build.....

so, i shouldn't use the subclass that performs the best for PvE? why do i care about my skill when im doing the raid, im just trying to get the raid done fast.

This raid is more DPS based anyway so and all subclasses got use, from my experience though with people including strikes not just raids, i rather have a back up plan than fail hilariously ;) more than once a self-res has saved an entire group and helped finish the raid and again sublcass does not determine what dps you do with your guns, as if one nova bomb could kill Aksis, think before you preach ;)

2 RespuestasLol void is the worst warlock subclass in the raid and I main that subclass in most activities, singer is better and you can use VF to get some extra damage in.
