Who thinks Icebreaker should come back?
Icebreaker was a great sniper rifle. It's design and unique perk gave it the kick it needed. I remember doing great things with icebreaker and I'd love to make more memories with this exotic weapon. What do you guys think? Should the glory of icebreaker be restored or should it be left behind?

8 RespuestasI misinterpreted this post and thought the actual exotic was removed from all players lol. But no it's still in the vault.... So for the rest of you, if you have it why not just use it? Traditional crucible is still fair game for it!

Yes, but the fun factor must be removed. Rounds take longer to recharge, maybe 2 minutes per round. Stability has to be worse than the lyumilla d pulse rifle. Range should be decreased by at least .04 less than 70% range. Last, but not least, the final round perk should definitely be removed from this op sniper. [spoiler]I never had one during my time in year one so I really would love a chance to get an updated version, even if it might not be as good as the original.[/spoiler]

Yes. With how strike boss fights are being designed now, it's ni longer feasable to squat in a cheese spot and pick away at thei healrh. Just try standing still sniping against the Shield Bros, or the Darkblade, or the new Siva Archon Priest. As for cheesing other encounters (spider tanks, cabal tanks), well it's an exotic sniper so it should have some utility over a legendary counterpart.

Not since the ammo regeneration nerf. The only thing it's good for now is farming exotics in Scourge of Winter.

3 RespuestasWould be awesome if it were brought back. It didn't drop for me in year 1. Neither did the THORN quest but I got yr 3 thorn yesterday.
