Over nerfing weapons
Bungie explain to the community why your nerfing exotic hand cannons so harsh its bad enough at the end of year one , in the very beginning of year 2 you nerfed the last word so much why is it still an exotic the thing that made it an exotic was the bonus stability and damage caused by the last word perk now it doesn't do any of that the perk I unnecessary to be on the weapon anymore . so now you have to Nerf the thorn worse then before just look at the patch notes you already nerfed it enough at the end of year 1 to the point where no one uses it any more

6 RespuestasLook at thorn. Its so bad. Bungie Logic: Lets reduce thorns damage over time from 7 to 5 and 5 to 2 and lets also add an artifact that lowers that burn so you wont feel that much burn. :D

16 RespuestasThey did the same thing to snipers making shotguns even more dominant and rage inducing. We finally get private matches and MLG takes interest in competitive Destiny at the same time crucible has become the most unbalanced it's ever been. What's worse is not a single Bungie developer will acknowledge this and we won't see anything done about it. From casual nobodies like me to the 1% has voiced their concern and we get ignored. :(

What was so fun about it was the whole shoot from the hip space cowboy vibe. The way it works now, you are better off ADS and pacing your shots. That's not the same gun at all!

1, use a period sometime jeesh. And I agree. It's only used cause of body shots with snipers then finishing with TLW.

4 RespuestasEditado por Soupreem: 9/16/2016 1:38:52 PMYeah, the over Nerf was and still is real, autos are still trying to recover after they got hammered, Hawkmoon is worthless, shotguns are extremely inconsistent because they have some of the worst RNG accuracy (not pellet spread, actual accuracy). They're kicking Thorn while it's down, *insert patch here* destroyed fusions, 2.4 made 1000 Yard archetype worthless for PvE, the only worthwhile bolt grenade to use is axion, Sunsingers might as well not exist, and Dreg's Promise got a damage Nerf for no good reason. Need I say more?

2 RespuestasNo one used thorn mainly because it wasn't carried over. The first nerf to gun, let's be honest, BARELY touched it. The second one fixed it. This last one might have been over board. You're spot on about the last word though. It's a gamble as to wether or not the guns gonna work for you or not. The only thing exotic on it anymore is the fan fire. Wouldn't be surprised if they took that away too.

To be fair a standard fan hammer shooting iron we've all seen a million times was hardly exotic to begin with. Or are you conflating powerful with exotic? I assure you the words mean different things.

It is still an incredibly effective gun - provided you know how to use it, there is definitely some skill required. The last word at least now can be competed with at the long end of short range to the beginnings of mid range. Where before you really stood no chance at all. And many players are still quite surprised at the damage it can cause outside it's effective range.
