According to my dog: HUMAN =TASTY MEAT PRODUCT PRODUCER= REQUIRED FOR EXISTENCE= TASTY MEAT PRODUCT PRODUCER = HUMAN NO HUMAN= NO TASTY MEAT PRODUCT SO THEREFORE I CONCLUDE THAT U NEED THE HUMAN TO SURVIVE, RESULTING IN MY FINAL DECISION TO BE YES, I WOULD DIE FOR MY HUMAN

My dog probably would. Even when my friends and I are throwing jabs at each other, if she sees someone take a swing at me she will run up between us and start barking and growling at my friend until I tell her it's okay. I wouldn't let my dog attack someone for me, though. I'd shoot the other person before I let them harm me or my dog.

6 RespuestasMy dog killed for me and my brother, so yes! My brother was bitten by a copperhead when he was little and our dog was there when it happened. She savagely mauled it and ever since that day she killed any she found up until we had to put her down 2 months ago at the ripe old age of 19. She would grab them by the tail and crack them like a whip. She killed well over 40 snakes in her lifetime and was bitten at least 10 times that I know of. She would be sick and mope around the house for a couple of days and then be back to normal. Best dog ever! Golden Retriever Chow mix.

I have cats. They're roommates who eat my food and expect me to clean up after them. Also, I'm allergic. They would eat me before my body was cold if given half the chance. How's that for loyalty... Good thing they're cute.

No, all my cats do is sleep and eat. Someone broke into my house a few months ago and my cats didn't move.

My cousin's last dog (RIP) was a husky/golden retriever mix, and I know she would have died for her owners. She had this anti-aggressor trait that whenever it looked like someone was being violent, she would place herself between the aggressor and the victim to take the blows to protect the victim. P.S. We only know this from horsing around; she never had to be put in an actual violent situation.
