This is beyond frustrating, a direct Hammer to the face should ALWAYS reward the player with the kill. Is it ok that the only roaming Super we have as Titans is so underwhelming ? That its practically literally useless and unreliable ?? absolutely NOT. I don't understand why this issue hasn't been addressed by Bungie yet, especially considering the release of ROI. As it is now Hammer of sol NEEDS to be looked at and reworked, I can't tell you the amount of times HOS has has either 1. direct Hammer failing to take down opponent. 2. Direct Hammers dealing no damage. As a Sunbreaker all I ask for is consistency, if I land a direct Hammer then that individual should be taken down by that Hammer. Also I want to bring up the perk -Flameseeker Forge master and -cauterize. First, flameseeker needs a CONSIDERABLE buff, as it is now the tracking is non existent, and cauterize needs to have no cool down, bringing the damage resistance down was quite enough to allow sunbreakers to be taken down. Now with Forge master ... I went into a private match alone and tested the "extra" blast radius of the perk. First I experimented with and without the perk, my conclusion ? Forge master is only good for making your super last longer and throwing more Hammers [two to be exact] The solution ? Buff forge master by a maximum of 10 % This will allow direct hits to always 1 shot. If these changes are taken into consideration and implemented, then sunbreakers won't be op, but balanced and reliable,. With all this said, I myself can't do much without you guys, please like, share and comment your thoughts, if bungie sees enough people agree, then maybe just maybe they'll give sunbreakers the rebalance and tuning they need. I thank all of you for your patience and reading this far. Bungie if your reading this then please take in consideration, us Titans Deserve a reliable roaming subclass. Thank you.

Hammers need a 5% increase to their damage but only if you have Explosive Pyre selected on the perk tree or by the exotic Gauntlets (Immolation Fists). Also the cool down for Explosive Pyre does not effect the bonus damage the Hammer gets out of Explosive Pyre, cauterize should not have a cool down, and the tracking should be buffed by 5%.

Hunters and Self Rez Locks ran through everything. When Sunbreaker first came out we got a taste of what we should be like in Crucible, but due to outcry (read: whining) we got nerfed. We made lemonade from the lemons handed to us with the Striker subclass, but now even that has been taken away with the shoulder charge and better control nerfs. The best part? That whole "memory of Jolder with a shoulder charge would be broken" argument is ridiculous. That artifact is SUPER situational as sprint cool down happens once in awhile, thereby not even adding much. The simple truth? The majority of people play Hunter, and if good player using a Titan wrecks them, they'll whine for a nerf.

That being said, Hammer of Sol is much better than Arc Blade. The Blade Dancer neutral game is superior to the Sunbreaker's, which is where the balance is made up, but the Sunbreaker super, even though I'd like the small buffs I mentioned, isn't in a bad spot. Edit: fixed spelling.

7 RespuestasSunbreaker is fine as it is Shadeshot needs a slight buff for the time how fast targets get tethered after they are in radius. As soon as the tether hits the ground everyone in the radius should get instantly tethered and not 2 seconds later... I play all classes and all subclasses and I have played almost the same amount of time with each class, some classes need small tweaks to make it more balanced

Blade dancer has No cooldown for Hungering blade, but its a super that you have to charge the enemy and successfully kill the to gain health back, combine that with increased control/Blink and max agility and you are a lightning bolt slicing ankles, if you run armor with blade dancer, Then whats wrong with you?. Cauterize has a 3 second cool down, Now its very unlikely that you can clear a room by chucking hammers across the map, you have to Charge the Enemy, combine that with speed and you are a flaming ball of death. Add Increased control and Twilight Garrison and you are STILL STOPPABLE. Remember Hammer of sol relies on Accuracy, even suncharge, you 6 times out of 10 have to position yourself at the enemy and hit them directly for the kill. 2 supers that are required to charge the enemy and Dispose of their light at your will. 1 super gives you unlimited Health Regen as long as you kill that target. 1 super Has a 3 second cooldown for health regen as long as you kill that target. How about Hammer of sol has no cooldown for health at the cost of its Agility? That way Blade dancers have alot of agility at the cost of Armor And Sunbreakers have alot of health at the cost of its Agility. And dont say Twilight garrison gives them alot of agility cause half of you Cried that to a nerf. (Some misspellings are probably in there, dont rip my spine out for them) This is just my 2 Cents that im sticking in.

Buff? Hammers are fine, I have no problem at all using them. If you want to almost guarantee a kill then run sub charge

Bladedancer gets healing on a kill, but they have to be within melee distance and their super is complete trash. A ranged, mobile super doesn't need healing in my opinion.

I main lock but I can sign any petition to buff any character. On the simple merit ever since vanilla Destiny came out, ALL we see are ninja nerfing skills of sandbox team and never-ending outcry when it happens. I wish it was as it used to be, OP or not. In game such as this you should buff others classes to be competitive with overpowered one. Not nerf them to downgrade to level of lesser classes. That's just lazy.

58 RespuestasHammer of Sol = Golden Gun + Nova Bomb. Can Regenerate health. Create extra damaging zones, thus can give over shield and extended super. Oh wait but it's weak... It needs a buff... You have one of the best supers to slay people. Use it wisely. Every super has glitch moments, and need to be patched.
