You obviously haven't used ToM with exposure, it definitely gets used on bosses
English
-
And no ice never used tom while exposure is active I'm not dumb. I have the raid helmet which makes orbs regenerate my health as shooting at a boss and killing myself to try to get three rapid kills and regen a small portion of that health is dumb.
-
Seriously, Do you have any idea? Did you honestly just say you weren't dumb enough to use a ToM with exposure?? Please do some research.
-
Seeing as red death, a number of armor pieces, SUROS, and at least one perk on every class can give you health back with far less risk and just as much reward you'd be dumb to be using tom with exposure on.
-
Editado por Blank: 9/12/2016 12:28:47 PMYet again please do some research, regen perks don't work on exposure. Orbs don't regen health, weapon perks don't proc regen, I guess I'll have to explain it to you.. ToM is used with explore because it grants you a crap load more armour, this means you can shoot a lot of extra damage bullets from ToM with out dying, even if you do die you can be rezzed and do it all over again, this method is widely used in CoE and strike farming without a Titan bubble.
-
Actually they do work by giving you back a chunk of health with each activation of a regen perk. So three kills with a RD ends or the same as a tom triple in health regen if not better because you're keeping you're health high. Same for orb puck up and SUROS though SUROS is the worst of the options. But none of these pose a risk of harming a player who's using those weapons. And tom doesn't give you any armor. It doesn't boost any stats of a person.
-
You've lost it, regen perks don't work on exposure that's a fact. No ToM doesn't give you extra armour.. Exposure does, this lets you spam death bullets from ToM, I'll ask one more time. Do some research before taking nonsense, it's annoying replying to assumptions.
-
Regen perks do give back chunks of health. It's how I always run exposure runs. Red death, my raid helmet for orb pick up health, and then a perk like life steal or caulderize. How about you try it out before declaring what you haven't tried doesn't work. And you're saying you should spam shitty primary bullets when a couple sniper rounds are far better. Yeah and I'm the dumb one.

-
It also kills you so you can't put out that damage and with exposure you would just end up dead and it's a stupid strat. And further that has nothing to do with the original point which was that in a raid running Bol+tom would be stupid and that their crucible logic they used for the stupid nerf wasn't realistic or matched with anyone's actual experience of the game.
-
Editado por Blank: 9/12/2016 12:58:54 PMMate! It wasn't nerfed because of pvp, it wasn't ever used in pvp except for shits and gigs.. It was nerfed because pve players relied on it so heavily.
-
No pve player relies on it or even uses it anywhere other than the raid except for people like you who don't use basic sense. And read the actual weapon tuning update.
-
You lack common sense, it was a raid crutch it got banned, keep crying.
-
It was a legit strat and removing it limits players for no reason, and at useless outside the raid. And if raid crutches were nerfed the black spindle would be nerfed but it's not, is it.
-
Oh so like the gjallarhorn, you know that rocket launcher that wasn't at all nerfed from everyone relying on it? Besides what's a black spindle? A sniper? I guess you missed the slight nerf those got.
-
Black spindle isn't effected by that nerf or it being used in the raid and ghorn wasn't nerfed for any in game reason. It was nerfed because Bungie let its mythos get out of hand. It was nerfed unfairly the same as tom but tom had no good reason. Hell the ghorn would have been shit in the KF raid even, showing that Bungie -blam!-s over pve and limits it for no reason making it all bland and boring.
-
Hey your opinion doesn't count as facts, gjally was nerfed because it was OP and nothing came close to it in year 1 Black spindle is a sniper therefore affected by any sniper changes, there's ask a reason icebreaker hasn't been brought forward Once again ToM wasn't nerfed, it still retains identical stats
-
I gave no opinion as to why it was nerfed, the reason Bungie gave was a struid out of game reason that people were using it as a barrier from allowing people to raid with them which was Bungie's fault. They, whether they meant to or not, raised it on a platform by not letting xur sell it but then they blamed the players and nerfed it for no in game reason. Not all snipers were effected by the nerf. They hardly ever nerf a weapon in general usually high impact or high range weapons but not all at once and the sniper nerf was not a blanket nerf to all snipers. Ice breaker wasn't brought forward because of trials, an issue that doesn't apply to tom or the black spindle. No it was nerfed as it acts completely differently than it did for an entire year. It weakened its effectiveness which is in fact a nerf.
-
Nerfed it's affect? Once again, it does the same damage, has the same ammo count, same stability. The gun has not changed at all, make sure you don't use it at all in KF
-
Wow you're really just not willing to understand that it was not a needed nerf, with no logic, that harms the variety of the game, and the weapon itself making it really useless, and the experience of players as no content or weapon should be rendered useless.
-
Editado por Blank: 9/13/2016 4:46:10 AMI'll just repeat the facts. Touch of Malice was not nerfed, the effects from the Titan bubble were. Touch of Malice retains identical stats post patch, ToM does the same damage and has not become a useless weapon as it [b]retains identical stats post patch[/b The thing that's absolutely hilarious is that you acknowledge the weapons and blessing of light stack was a strat but think using ToM with exposure is dumb and no one does it?
-
The fact is it was nerfed. If the way a weapon works or interacts with the game is weakened it is nerfed. The stats don't have to be changed. When the black hammer had its perk changed to take ammo from its reserve rather than retrieve the used ammo it was a nerf. The stats were exactly the same but the way it interacted in the game was changed. Exposure is a stupid strat but double bubble is a strat that works but the difference is that one includes a ducking aura of invincibility that makes it reasonable. Seeing as with exposure you're just killing yourself but the point of using it in the raid is you're near dead by the time you finish all four ogers but the relic holder arrives and you instantly get that health back and can't loose it. And while almost everyone used double bubble no one uses tom with exposure.
-
You keep using the aura as a reason for the bubble Tom strat.. No the reason that strat is used is because they don't have the -blam!-ing aura yet. No the black spindle was a nerf, the weapon perk was changed.. The actual perk on the weapon was changed, it seems like you're a bit slow so hopefully you'll understand if i repeat it one more time.. The actual perk on the actual gun was changed on Bs. Hmm lets see ToM, all the perks work the same, still not a nerf to ToM.
-
Except that because you get the aura is the only reason it's viable. If you didn't have the aura the strat would be pointless as it relies on the bubble just being something to hold out until the aura. There is no aura with exposure so it's stupid to use tom. No the perk was exactly the same, just the way it interacted with ammo changed. Just as the nerf to tom was just how it interacted with Bol. So if one is a nerf the other is a nerf. The perk though doesn't work the same as if it did they would work exactly the same as it did before the nerf but it doesn't.

There aren't modifiers on raids.
