Eating junk or unhealthy food causes harmful affects to your body, and eaying a balanced diet will benefit your body. It really relies on the handling of said firearms rather than the amount of firearms per capitia. Besides it shouldn't be a black and white solution either. In my country, Ireland, only certain firearms are (strictly) permitted, and even then you need to have a valid reason to own one [b]and[/b] you have to back up that reason. EG: If you want to own a firearm for sport, you must be registered with a Gardaí (Police) approved gun club if I remember correctly. And we keep guns in concealed lockers at all times as there [i]should[/i] be no reason to use a gun in self defence. Guns simultaniously solve problems and create problems. One must think of all factors relating to crime, and all factors relating to firearms, in order to create the 'perfect' solution to all. They create a threatening presence. Whether thats good or bad its up to you. [spoiler]You know your country is messed up when 'self defence' becomes a valid reason to own a gun.[/spoiler]
