Whats happening in the USA?
With the Cosmodrome/Plaguelands being in Russia and the Last City/Traveler being in Europe as well (I'm assuming), what's going on on the opposite side of the world?
I mean even with the guardians presences, the fallen are doing all this stuff like digging up SHIVA, scavenging for old tech, and building up their houses.
But if they can do that while combating the guardians and Iron Lords, what can they do uninterrupted? Is the US a forward base for them, are they in constant fighting with the hive, what tech have they discovered?

In an attempt to create a lasting food supply scientists tried fuzing Ramen noodles with twinkled and a box of saltiness crackers. The creation grew sentience and killed all the scientists. It left the laboratory and started to feed on the Americans, fattys first. The excessive amounts of fat and waste products fueled it and caused it to grow and spread at a feverish rate. In lore I assume the U.S.A is a vast rotting uninhabitable land with few to no survivors, America would've thrown everything they had at the "darkness" and when defeat was assured they would've enacted the M.A.D. protocol (mutually assured destruction) launching every "doomsday" class weapon they had at the enemy and probably destroying themselves rendering their lands uninhabitable in the process

Old Chicago and Manhattan are Nuclear Zones. From just that alone, I am almost certain that the United States was hit pretty hard and for the most part, inhabitable within the games lore.

1 RespuestaThe U S Is in turmoil due to the politically correct society it has become. All anyone cares about is how much attention they get and being special. Our military is in disorder due to catering to the needs of the special groups who want equal rights. Thus undermining the whole concept of a strong unified fighting force. The rest of the U S Is too busy figuring out what label to give themselves. So basically the rest of the universe is on its own.
