I'm hoarding a bunch of stuff like, motes, sc, exotic and legendary engrams.
I'm also keeping as many legendary pieces as I can so I can dismantle them for marks once I spend the 200 I have.
I will of course also have my factions, vanguard and crucible rep ready to rank up.
So what is everyone else doing to prepare?
-
I spent a couple hours edging my faction and vanguard and crucible rankings... I'll continue tomorrow a bit more. Then when I run out of things to do, I'll just try to contain my excitement as best as I can...
-
I finished all the quests I had sitting around so the my quest screen looked clean and easy to see all the new story missions.

1 RespuestaMy preparation: Order a pizza Plenty to drink Sack of bud Full pack of smokes I'll be ready for a destiny binge day

2 RespuestasLol prepping for year3 doesn't get rid of any content. It just allows us not to have to grind for stuff the first week. Most people who have been saving up are diehard destiny players and we will have no trouble having things to do in this game.

1 RespuestaPlaying the division and pcsing to Korea...

The same thing I did for all the other DLC's. Stocking up on everything. Power leveling all factions on my Alts. Buying Hvy ammo synth like we're never going to see purple bricks again!

Been working on this for several weeks now (gives me something to do when there's nothing currently in the game to do). In shut down mode right now as each character hits the right line on faction, Vanguard, Crucible, cryptarch. Fill every weapon/armor slot before I close them down. Will only play one character next week, my Hunter since he is my least favorite and don't care if he goes over on some. * Burned through 500+ 3oC, now have 42 weapon and 39 armor exotic engrams in vault. Still have around 150 3oC. * Every purple engram goes into vault, roughly 30 weapon and 60 armor * Edged factions, then changed to another faction, edged it and changed to third, don't care whether third is close. Thisxway, first day faction advance and week two another. * 2000+ Weapon parts/armor parts each * 3000+ motes * 1500+ SC * Buying heavy ammo synth 1000+ now, closer to 1500 day of ROI * Glimmer hoard consumables for ~500K in vault * Completed bounties (8 each Crucible and Vanguard) on all characters ready to turn in before leaving tower. * Cryptarch edged on all 3. * Postmaster filled on all 3. For postmaster, most are blue, but also completely filling weapon/armor slots on character before KF runs will dump everything there (leave open Consumable spots so moldy sharts and runes don't end up there). This should yield 5-10 more items to turn into legendary marks. * Deleted all exotics that I don't use. Have ~200 exotic sharts. * Leave one weapon and one armor spot open in vault and move items

Editado por Operator: 9/7/2016 1:39:33 PMOk here's a question. Everyone is going to spend thousands of heavy on faction rank ups. Most will opt for weapons. Bungie knows this. So my question is how worth it do we think it will really be? They will spin up the crap perk RNG to water down the weapon drops from being viable. The grind is what they strive for. I have 6000 heavy and 2 thousand motes. My guess is this will be the crap RNG that we found when we where able to reroll weapons. I will have more legendary marks than I know what to do with from all of the dismantled weapons. So zero need to save legendary marks. We should track what we got on each package and find out how many of the weapons we actually kept and used. My thoughts is this will be an overall big letdown as that is all we have ever seen from this games RNG pool.
-
Absolutely nothing. I mean sure I could do more endless grinding but I've got warframe for that, and I actually get something from it.
-
1000's of material each Thousands of weapon parts.... And all of that other shit. Hope it doesnt get too boring
-
Absolutely nothing just because I want to have as much to do as possible when it drops.. only thing I did was hoard a motherload of strange coins and motes.

Editado por DSRT976: 9/7/2016 8:29:10 AMEdging rep on all factions, gunsmith, eris, petra and variks. Collect exotic engrams and shards. Also heavy synths, motes, weapon and armor parts (~400 of each), and glimmer consumables (~100k after exchange), also edging legendary marks and glimmer cap + around 50 strange coins for first day Xur arrive (i have ibly one character). And full vault of shitty legendaries just for additional marks if necessary.
-
Saved iron banner and Osiris mark bounties, lots of legendary gear, packages at vanguard and vendors
-
60 exotics. 2000 heavy ammo synthesis. Plan on having 3k heavy on day of.
-
Nothing, I made the mistake of over preparing for TTK and still regret it
-
Going in like jerry heller once did. Wnwa. Express yourself.
-
Honestly all this edging factions stuff is kinda not super important anymore. Maybe setup vanguard and crucible. Otherwise who really cares. Just play the game and save money. Spend it all on weapon parts. Then wherever your factions are at RoI release, just power level them. Really pretty cheap and way less of a chore than specifically trying to edge factions.

7 RespuestasEditado por CommanderLouiz: 9/6/2016 5:40:54 PMIts always around this time in that I wonder how people have manage to get upwards of 50+ exotic engrams, 100+ legendaries, 1000's of motes and coins. I have currently... 80 motes 5 lengendary engrams. 40 Strange coins. No 3oC for exotics.
-
4 RespuestasEngrams are timestamped, But keep them to level up the cryptarch. Edge up your factions, crucible, Vanguard. START COLLECTING BOUNTIES. I've got my bounties and stacked my vault full of legendary and exotic engrams. Not gunna edge my factions yet.
-
I'm finally completing all the quests on my titan and finishing ranking his subclasses.

Editado por ClovenTrack620: 9/7/2016 1:11:09 AMits funny how bungie wants people to grind the first 3 days of ROI in such a hurry to inmediately jump into the raid so u literally wont have anything to do afterwards. personally i kike to take it easy, im not hoarding anything cause we haven't had shit. to do for months so all my stuff is already full to the max, and when ROI comes out im gonna take my sweet time exploring the new areas ,finishing the campaign and getting familiar with all the changes , currency, weapons balance ,vendors, strikes ,gear, quests ,activities, and then ill do the raid which will b there for eternity and eventually get boring as every other raid in the game
