I'm gonna laugh so hard when there's matchmaking for raids and that shit blows up in all (most) y'all's faces and THEN YOU COMPLAIN ABOUT RAIDS BEING TOO HARD!
Edit: (Actually I won't laugh, I'll cry. Because it means bad things for the community)
FIND A TEAM YOU LAZY FREAKS!
Edit: (sorry "freaks" is harsh, my blunder) (Yes it's laziness because you can use any device to find a fireteam in under five minutes on multiple different websites) TRUST IN THEM! INVEST IN THEM! BUILD A RELATIONSHIP OF COMMUNICATION AND DEVELOP COORDINATION!
If you're not willing to put in the effort, stop whining to Bungie. No one in their right mind would go into a raid or the such, in other games, and expect success without a seasoned and respectable fireteam of people they know and trust!
STUPID! (Not you the OP, but the idea of MATCHMADE is stupid)
Edit: Scenario 1-1
I join a raid MATCHMADE in orbit.
I join the party chat invite from someone (let's say for all circumstances there is 4 out of the 6 people we need) who is in orbit with me.
But the next two people don't join party chat after being MATCHMADE with us despite multiple invites.
One guy finally messages back saying he doesn't have a mic. Ok. Sure. Not awesome but... whatever.
We fly in. The guy who doesn't join party chat and didn't send any messages just sits there and doesn't move. Ever.
QUESTION IS....WHO BOOTS HIM??? THERE IS NO FIRETEAM LEADER. OR....
We fly in. People suck at this and the good people do some damage control and get to checkpoint. But can't get further with the people they have.
QUESTION IS... WHO TELLS THE PEOPLE WHO ARENT PULLING THEIR WEIGHT TO KINDLY LEAVE WITHOUT STARTING A BIG FIGHT AND ALIENATING SOME POOR CHILD?!?
QUESTION IS... IF YOU REACH A CHECKPOINT AND NEED TO LEAVE, HOW IS IT GONNA MATCHMAKE WITH PEOPLE AT THE SAME CHECKPOINT? OR IS IT JUST GONNA THROW SOMEONE IN LIKE AT THE END OF A CRUCIBLE MATCH?
C'mon guys have you even thought about the disaster that you'll be putting people through?
Lol.... I can't even (you do realize that the more dumbed down the PvE content gets there is a direct correlation to how much emphasis is being put on PvP by Bungie?)

You sir put on paper all that I was too lazy to ever write. I salute you. But I invite you to accept the madness and watch it burn. We can laugh together.

Editado por SlyBlueCat: 8/27/2016 2:47:57 AMThe article says Bungie is working on it. They did build a successful game. Stop bitching and let Bungie figure it out. Besides if they can make it happen quite successfully then support it. What are you actually afraid of, all the many hours of raids that you put in and maybe the matchmaking will give same rewards. Besides if they implement it, you don't have to play it. Normal raid teams have their own clans anyway, so it doesn't concern them, stick to your own teams and let the people enjoy the game. It doesn't affect you.

Why is it most of the people I encounter on these forums that cry about wanting matchmaking for the raids or it being too difficult or time consuming to get a group together are usually on xbox. Is the Xbox community really that craptastic at raiding or doing any type of PvE? Also if you find it to difficult to build a team and get a raid done you clearly have little to no experience leading a group in the first place. In which case you should post on lfg or another site like that to get invited to a team. After you get invited to a team simply tell them (yes that's right be honest) that you have little to no experience in doing the raid or said event. I know it's a hard concept, how do I tell them I haven't completed the raid without them getting mad or booting me. Well guess what Jacko, it's going to be much worse if you don't say anything about being a noob then you mess up the simple easy things a few times, because then someone is going to call you out and tear you a new one.

Super duper bump. Couldn't have said it better myself.

Agreed!

Totally agree

Lmfao can you make your self look like more of a carried noob
-
You have 29 raid completions.
-
Hell yeah I do. And a ton that don't count cause we don't complete it. Srry I wish you were smart but you just don't keep up.
-
I assume you don't mean me because you can look at my record and know you are mistaken.
-
Dude idk who you are or how you even thought this post was towards you. Lmfao I won't check your stats cause that is a waste of my time.
-
Apologies, it showed your post beneath mine.

Having matchmaking is still a choice. What's so complicated about it? If you find a team prior to starting the activity then you wouldn't need to match make would you? So folks like me who get tired of jumping from one crumbling team to another can be match made. Sure it could lead to the same problem but at least I wouldn't have to trudge through the forums sending messages that most never respond to. The only people who don't think it's needed are those who have a dedicated group (or dedicated randoms to choose from) to play with. I, and others like me, don't. I play when I can which means it's random and rarely at the same times during any given week. It's such a small thing to add what's the big deal. You lose nothing.
-
What about an in-game lfg? Like a chat or something for people in the tower where you can recruit people for any activity?
-
Better but still a bit of a grind just to find a team. When I only have a few hours to play, wasting one to find a team is frustrating.
-
No different from lfg, except more people would use it because it's in game
-
I have thrown out all of these scenarios on posts demanding matchmaking for raids. There are just so many things that could go wrong. I have to wonder if the people begging for raid matchmaking have ever even participated in a raid. If they had, surely they'd understand all the frustrations that could go wrong. And there are A LOT. But if it's optional that makes everything ok with everybody. Right....
-
I can't wait to see how wrong you are about literally everything you just wasted all of our time ranting about.
-
I think it can work to a degree. Ppl who are getting somewhere will meet other like minded ppl in matchmaking. OK, so some don't pull their weight but they won't get friend invites for another raid. It's nearly as random as lfg but it also creates friendships that can expand into full competent fireteams.. imo.
