I love this game a lot, it's fun, and innovative, but a few things seem off to me
1. The carbine. It's insanely good, it kills quick, has insane range, and is a starter gun.
2. Titan health. For all the time spent to get a titan less of the game is actually spent inside it.
3. L-Star. Who the heck decided it was a LMG? It plays like an assault rifle or maybe even an SMG. It has low range, high rate of fire, and no ability to suppress.
Will add more if they come up.

I sucked at sniping on this game :( I'm a big fan of bolt action rifles, but I couldn't find my rhythm here. I feel like it's not even worth attempting to snipe on the bounty game type (or at least with the bolt action, semi auto might be good). Because the rate at which I can kill grunts and players declines, and since you have to rack up money till the donate round, I felt like I was holding my team back while I as sniping. I got a lot more cash, a lot faster with the car.

Also, Titan health is fine. But you've got to master picking up health for it. Kinda sucks, but your Titan will never die.

Notice the flaw with the Water mill on Homestead? Any/all projectiles can't pass through it.

27 RespuestasEditado por Satanic Mechanic: 8/20/2016 7:24:23 PMPeople the green dots on the map are "batteries" get one before you get in your Titan or have a team mate put one in or jump out and grab that bitch yourself if you have to... THATS how you get the over shield for Titans... Can also be taken out of enemy titans... Bump this so others know... It also refills your some of your Titan HP like one or two "blocks"... Helps make it more team based... Screw it i made a post about it...

3 RespuestasThe biggest flaw? That the grapple isnt a universal ability.
-
The Titans have their shields, so I'd figure that's why devs dropped their health so much. Either the general community is bad with their shield use, or they need to up the length/power of shields and maybe raise health alongside that.

I forgot how much I loved actually having to lead shots while shooting. It's been a while since I played battlefield because of my friend Seige

Haven't actually touched it yet. But from watching a lot of gameplay i've got a few issues. 1)Titan's having no shields. Titan versus titan combat looks incredibly terrible because of this. They could keep the same mechanics they have now with the core being stolen with rodeo and what not. Just let the core be the reason titans have shields to begin with. and adding the core to a friendly titan could just instantly recharge the shields back to full+ give a small amount of health back. Or just give health back. Right now titans just seem like kill streaks that you use as aggressively as possible because they don't live long enough to be considered a powerful asset. 2)The amped boost. It currently has no way of letting other players know the person is amped. Which means going into a gun fight you can't reasonably guess how quickly you'd be dropped. The old burn card system might have been under used and awkward but at least people knew who used what. They NEED to give some kind of indicator. a simple " x player is amped!" in the feed would suffice. 3)Hipfire seems too effective across the board. Should be toned back some. 4) i'd personally like titan build times to be reduced across the board and even more so with game modes that don't feature AI. Either that or AI needs to come back for more then just one game mode. I like the idea of actions equating to more titan build energy. But right now since we lack AI in one of the modes that has titan combat we see less titans. I know they patched in a fix to reduce the build time in amped hard point. But they need to do this across the board.

The carbine was the best gun in the game in TF1.

I think what everyone needs to understand that the tech test build was finished in June and isn't the build Respawn is currently working on. What we're playing isn't the version we're getting at release.

10 RespuestasMy problem is that they highlighted every enemy pilot so it's impossible to sneak around. It rewards camping because all you have to do is sit in a single spot and wait for the shiny orange pilot. I think removing this would solve the quick time to kill in this game because it would make the pilots a little harder to hit.

8 RespuestasI personally find the mechanics of the game perfect. The deal breaker for me is atrocious map design. I lost count how many times I got killed while mantling a stove pipe or random rubble. In the previous installment, it was possible for one to traverse each map without touching the ground or slowing down. In the new game, it's difficult to build momentum and keep it due to the lack of smooth vertical surfaces and ziplines. The grappling hook helps here, but one must sacrifice their stim or cloak to use it; even when I do use it I spend half my time slamming into walls, and killing my speed. I wish I could love it, but so far Respawn has failed to deliver the same smooth, fast-paced action they built into the old Titanfall.
Tl;dr: Map design creates choppy movement.
-
Here's more flaws: -Parkour has been dumbed down and isn't as smooth and rewarding as Titanfall 1 -TTK is insanely low to the point that you can get melted for just popping out of cover for half a second -Amped Guns are much more effective than the Ticks, making them obsolete
-
It is much slower than the og. Is it the bad maps
-
13 RespuestasHow about the fact that the maps are small compared to the ones in Titanfall 1 and everyone gets condensed into certain areas. The game honestly doesn't feel the same anymore. It feels a lot more like Call of Duty, unfortunately. We'll see when the full game comes out, but I will definitely not be preordering or day-one buying.

4 RespuestasEditado por ALIAS-F4LS: 8/20/2016 3:23:49 PMCan definitely tell it's incomplete (pre alpha) since you can add extra clip to charge weapons so this is probably not the final product (bracing for the people saying no duh). They are probably reading TTK, Titan health, gun balance Ect. Give them your opinion on their page.

1 RespuestaEditado por Deuce756: 8/20/2016 10:27:53 PMThis is a tech test, and by no means does represent the final product. I understand your concerns for balance but that is not what the intention of the test is. When the alpha and beta takes place: balance should be worked on.

4 RespuestasEditado por TreeMan_X: 8/20/2016 4:11:33 PMTTK too fast, amped hard point makes no sense because you get rewarded for having one person sit in the spawn for the entire game so they can keep the hard point amped, which is silly, the wall hack knife has absolutely way too much range and it was spammed constantly on pilot vs pilot (which is a complete camp fest),anti Titan weapons are weak, joining and inviting friends needs to work. People need to stop leaving games since it doesn't seem like you can join a match in progress, so games die or are left with 2 people, it's happened 3 times to my friend and I. I know this is "pre-alpha" but just giving feedback.
