OP/overpowered definition:
Something that is very powerful that is extremely easy to use and has no or very little counters (Basically uncounterable in all ranges)
The Last Word: Very difficult to use yet when mastered becomes godly overall is pretty simple to counter as long as you keep your distance.
Mida:Balanced
Grasp of Malok: Fine where it is(Maybe change it to a 4 burst to create variety among pulses)
Hawksaw/PDX: Extremely powerful yet seems to not be to the point of being too strong
Universal Remote:Balanced(would't be mad if they nerfed it)
Snipers:Fine
Shotguns:Fine
Nothing is OP right now....
Refer back the definition of OP above I see many confused guardians below that confuse strong weapons with OP ones

2 Respuestas
OP/overpowered definition: Something that is very powerful that is extremely easy to use and has no or very little counters (Basically uncounterable in all ranges) Universal Remote: balanced So you're saying that universal remote, a shotgun that spawns in with more ammo than my shotgun can even hold, has more range than a party crasher (I know Universal has range perks but still), and is one of the most used "primaries" right now is balanced??? You said that something is considered OP when it's easy to use and has no counter, but you think that Universal Remote is balanced?? Yeah I don't think so.

13 RespuestasGrasp is definitely overpowered. A gun that can beat the last word with the right rolls is overpowered.
-
8 RespuestasEverything you just listed is overused because they are OP.
-
Hawksaw is balanced without that autofire perk. Certain guns shouldn't have certain perks because they just become dominant. Universal remote is retarded but I can't say I want it nerfd because its doing what its supposed to do as an exotic. (Stand out and kick ass) but if it got nerfd I wouldn't complain
-
Snipers are broke. Mida is broken shotguns need buffs because only three are used grasp is trash unless you have certain perks tlw is balanced nowadays but probably will be nerfd again.

18 RespuestasIn regards to Universal Remote. I too wouldn't mind if they nerfed it.

1 RespuestaSnipers fine are u crazy,?

I think snipers need a risk factor to using it in cqb. the fact they can eat head shots and the bounce can be learned is a problem. random flinch would solve. I just think it goes way too reliably out of its range way too often. not so much that they are op but everything was nerfed way under it leaving it out of place in the meta.

most of the exotics are just overused because most legendaries are underpowered, universal needs taken down, and for hawksaw/pdx their is no down side, they have great stability, and hit detection, there needs to be something that you have to get used to be great with them.

What weed u been smokin?

2 RespuestasI don't look at it like that. The problem is that low RoF weapons aren't rewarding enough to use over those guns. The First Curse? Red Death? Nah.
-
11 RespuestasWhat would they nerf on Uni? The only thing I can think of to not ruin the gun is fire rate so you can't two tap if you're out of range.

1 RespuestaWtf are you rambling on about?

5 RespuestasThe weapons themselves are inherently balanced. The incredible perk combinations are what make them good. The ease with which they are acquired is what over saturates the Crucible. Pulse Rifles in particular are especially suited for PvP due in part to their effectiveness at common engagement distances present in MOST maps, with the exception of the longer ranges. The same logic applies to other High RoF, Low Impact "Meta" weapons. Larger maps would produce more weapon variety, but players don't seem to enjoy Bastion, First Light, Skyshock, etc. Bungie keeps removing these Maps from standard rotations and facilitates the advancement of the current Meta further by nerfing and buffing weapons based on a skewed combination of weapon use statistics and generally salty player feedback. It would be nice if things could go back to the way they were on release day, with pulse rifles maintaining their currently buffed status. That's the only thing that the Crucible really needed to be balanced back in the day. But instead Bungie broke down every other weapon until they were all equally bad, leaving the best of the worst fighting for that primary slot. What a shame. -MAD X H0USE (I really just want OG Pre-buff Thorn to make a comeback)

17 RespuestasTrue, but there is a meta which is rather annoying. Some variety would be nice.

Editado por Zarahi Sunstrider: 8/19/2016 11:13:27 PMAll the high rof weapons need to suffer from damage fall off harder there is almost no point in using slower ROF weapons these days because the high ones can kill you from a distance just as fast. Something also seriously need to be done about snipers.

3 RespuestasEditado por UFSman: 8/19/2016 9:43:13 PMSnipers need more scope time added so they can only be used at mid to long range plus when moving while scope the scope should be all over the place not dead centre. And no gasp of malock is not fine it should do less damage than the other two pluse rifes above it other wise what is the point of those pulse rifes which have more impact?
-
5 RespuestasSo the def 4 an op gun: high fire rate, accurate, good at any range, has a plenty of bullets and can kill from 3-4 shots.......

11 RespuestasI get two shot by the last word across the map so either they are cheating or you're full of crap.

2 RespuestasEditado por Drive By Baggins: 8/19/2016 12:12:52 PMTrue dat. Everything seems fairly balanced. Of course you do roll up on some guys just rocking God rolls that know very well how to use them. Dat Hawksaw doe. Yeah, there was a super good vendor roll. Same with the Conspiracy that dropped from the story mission. Or that vendor JPK. Remember Apple of Discord? I'm pretty happy with balance so far. I can roll with my Finallas that rolled with Underdog and Life Support and not have too many problems. My K/D has actually been moving uphill, and I've basically rocked HC's all of Y2. Medal score went from ~200K at the end of Y1 to ~2M now. To be honest though, I would be a bit sad if they nerfed UR. It's not OP, nowhere near. It's one gun that's working as intended. A primary shotgun that does bonus PRECISION damage only when ADS. You have to work to get to that range, so when you do it pays dividends. Especially with all these mid range weapons around. Same thing with Mida. Gun is working as intended. On the other hand, there are quite a few guns out there that are not working as intended. TLW is definitely one. It was designed to combat shotgun warriors in close range. Lots of folks are using this gun way out to mid range, so I definitely wouldn't mind a major range drop off adjustment.

Very true... (let's hope they don't break anything.)
