Penalize people who drop out
I am tired of going into a lost battle. It messes everyone up when people leave the game just because they don't want to lose. Penalize them by restricting time limit until they can play again. 20 minute penalty to crucible access sounds great!

I always stay and more than once found myself to be the lone player on my team. I play for fun could careless about K/D On the other hand sometimes LIFE HAPPENS and you have no choice but to leave a match. If my fiancé strolls down stairs in a skimpy outfit......Guardian Down!

Loot, lag, matchmaking, win/loss manipulation, games in progress, ghost bullets, hit detections, etc... If the match isn't fun, I'm leaving. Period. I don't play games to get mad and I doubt I'm alone on that. It's just as easy for you to find another match too.

I agree. Joined 1 late game that was loosing. Decided to play it out next game. Game starts, 3 players leave and we get mercy ruled! fuhking 14,000-3000. Still went positive and hit 2 merciless medals but some straight bs!!

Why don't you sit down and cry about it. I'm not gonna get a fricken penalty because someone needs my attention, my internet just decided to kill itself, my team mates are fricken trash, I need to pick up the phone or any other reason I have. Good -blam!-ing riddance

I have been weasled twice now in this round of IB. Unfortunately we were winning both games and I showed no signs if a bad connection. I started getting the "Contacting Destiny servers" message for about two minutes while getting kills and being killed, then getting kicked from the game.

If you drop out you shouldn't be able to get back into a game until the game you dropped out of ended. or a 5m cool down. there are you happy?

What if the person leaves because a friend invited him/her to join their fireteam to do something, or what if the person playing just had to leave to go somewhere.

What happens if you get error coded out though ? You play IB and get weasel error, now you have to wait 10 minutes to get back in even though it's most likely bungie servers that dropped you.

They are penalized. They lose combat score.

2 RespuestasI guess you've missed the other thousand posts on this subject over the past 23 months. Not happening. No one should be penalized for taking care of real life situations, leaving rooms full of red bars or leaving blow outs they've been dropped into, etc.

I'm tired of constantly getting matched against people who lag and don't take damage properly, if the -blam!-ing lag wasn't such a big issue people wouldn't quit so often, at least i wouldn't.

I leave games out of overwhelming anger and/or doing my own matchmaking for games that are pretty close. If you want to penalize me, will you pay the medical bills when I gouge my eyes out? [spoiler]I get rly salty, am not proud[/spoiler]

What if someone doesn't want to go but they have to. Penalise someone because something has happened to a friend or family and they need to go urgently; a problem or danger within the house like fire; personal medical issues occurring; bad internet connection on that one day; pets and/or kids need attention. Not all people who leave the game are doing it because their team are loosing.

There should also be an option to rejoin the session you left or were accidentally kicked from.

6 RespuestasThe only problem is that people have lives with unexpected emergencies and can't wait till after the match. Unfortunately most people that bail just don't want to lose, but some people can't wait to see to their crying child, or their house flooding, or any number of other things.
