I think this game hates solo players
Well not really hate, just sucks for people who like to play alone or just can't get their friends to play with them.
It's either you're on a weird team of people without a mic. Or just some people(kids) doing the court of Oryx and need you to be there for an hour doing the same one over and over.
Yes I know it's a game that's all about playing with others but dang the solo content is dry for "ok" players like me. I can't solo a raid
New-ish: I've got a question, how many people are in high school because I am an I won't have much time to play. I'm not sure what kind of fire team/ clan takes people like that. (Xbox One)

Yes bungie likes to make it difficult for solo players but from the very beginning they designed the game around fireteams of friends. That is why there is still no matchmaking for the hardest content in the game. I just don't understand why they don't make matchmaking an optional feature for everything in the game.

I play alone a lot on PS4 but when I want to do Trials or a raid I go on forums and communities. I usually just grind for exotics I'm missing, very few

Take a chance and message folks in the tower/patrols. Yeah this game hates players like us, but there are things we can do to change that.

5 Respuestas1. Raids should have been allowing randoms to create games for it from the get go. No reason not to except Bungie has issues with common sense. 2. mics are optional. Most people opt out. 3. Court is nice for extra stuff like soloers needing to improve their ghost and the court is about the ONLY way a solo player can get such improvements. 4. I group with others if they use a mic I don't need to pretend a player is actually a player because they are no better than AI allies. 5. I haven't seen high school since the 90s. sorry

I dont really think the game hates solo players, I think there isnt enough ways for solo players to get top tier gear. As of right now, every activity requires you to have at least 2-5 other people to complete.

Being a solo player isn't an excuse anymore... Everything I've done and every single raid was with randoms. After the April update I believe it took me 2 weeks to get all the characters to 335. Raid usually takes around an hour ish with randoms these days because most people know it very well

Yeah but sorry to say the game wasn't really modeled around that idea it was developed with co-op in mind, wasn't really meant for solo players in the first place, I'm mostly a solo player myself but mainly cuz my buddies aren't really on and it seems impossible for me to make friends who aren't kinderguardians or assholes, I will say it is a lot more fun with a fireteam and the raids are a blast with a competent group of players and near impossible to do solo. I mean seriously...
