Hell yes, bring back elemental primaries, they made the game more fun and made the raid worth running. Oryx hard mode weapons are a joke!!!!!!!

It's one thing Bungie made a big mistake on in this game. They started it out one way and decided to change everything and thought everyone should just get over it. I will never understand how Gamers on here keep saying us day one gamer should just drop things It's in the past. Yet Bungie keeps reselling y1 stuff piece by piece. If they can do it with exotics and allow every single weapon that's ever been made to play in PvP and work in PvP. Why is it selfish for the PvE gamers to ask to have the same opportunities? [b]It's selfish of Bungie to allow everything to work in PvP, but cap everything in PvE at 170 from Y1.[/b] How is this justifiable knowing that they cater to PVP. Using the microtransactions in time events ( [b]mostly for PvP.[/b]) So when is Bungie going to start showing respect to the PvE gamers as they have for the PvP gamers? It's a proven fact that removing the Exotics from y1 to be sold back to us piece by piece that there was no real reason to remove them in the first place. Ghorn is a prime example. It's a marketing tool right now with an added bonus with an unknown perk. So why aren't they allowing primary elemental in this game? It doesn't effect anything in Ttk and, yet they refuses to listen to the top most requested. By removing primary elementals it didn't create a "variety". It forced you to use what was offered to you and nothing more... [b]PvP is a proven fact that nothing changed whatsoever. Gamers still go to the next go to and that is a fact that no one can deny. What is the most used weapons right now. Now try to tell me what's the difference when primary elemental were around?[/b] Here ill tell ya! ( [b]NOTHING[/b]) you still used when the top weapons no matter what gets nerfed. Meaning the top weapons to use to get the job done weather is PVP or PVE....

Guns like fatebringer, word of crota, atheon's epilogue and the Vex were all real good guns in Y1 but no one really used them I'm PVP (post vex nerf). These were the PVE guns and should have been. This is what defines PVE vs PVP. There is nothing wrong with grinding for a real good elemental primary. It took me 5 months to get a fatebringer and 7 months for a vex. They need to be brought back. Let's be honest here, we still use elemental secondary and heavy weapons for a burn strike. I don't see a big issue with the elemental primaries so long as they don't over take PVP.

If having burns on only a small number of guns was causing lack of diversity (which I do not believe is true) then the answer isn't to remove the burns, but to allow ALL primaries to be infused with burns. Rather than dropping elemental primaries, raid bosses can drop infusion cores which add elemental damage to any weapon with only kinetic damage. THAT would solve the diversity issue. All removing elemental primaries did was remove yet one more FUN aspect from Y1. Removing something players actually enjoy is never a smart move. Ever. Elemental primaries NEED to make a comeback.

I personally think all exotic primaries barring the universal remote and NLB should have a burn - it would encourage the use of exotic primaries in end game content - the only time you see a Hawkmoon is on small arms and even then it's rare to see... When was the last time anyone used an assault rifle other than the Zhalo to complete a strike? It's still heavy on one aspect and light in others!

I personally used every single elemental primary. Now I only use 1 to 2 different weapons for everything. Bring back elemental primaries would be better, in fact there should be a lot more, all final level primaries should have a random burn.

Year one I actually had weapon diversity. Needed to deal with Arc shields? Fate bringer or Fang. Solar shields? VoC or abyss defiant. Void? Never really got lucky on that front. Y2 I purchased the vendor hung jury and never changed. True diversity is right tool for the right job application. Y2 was just one tool attempting to fill many roles. Sure the person next to me might have been using a different gun but they still are experiencing the same issue. No reason to change the primary ever. To compound to the issue infusion made swapping weapons detrimental unless you were lucky to feed your other primaries. If you're happy using a screw driver in the place of a hammer then I suppose we'll never see eye to eye. I prefer using a hammer for a nail and screwdriver for a screw. I'm not gonna cry because the person beside me is doing the same. In fact I'd celebrate the efficiency. That's exactly what elemental primaries were. Efficient

Would love to use Abyss Defiant against solar shielded Witches in CoE. Loved to use Hunger of Crota and other Crota raid weapons. I want to use my Vex and Necro again, instead of this shit Zalo AR gun.
