Why are you people acting like Destiny's any different?

I'm starting to notice a pattern with the people on these forums who always have something about destiny to complain about. You guys are always talking about how repetitive this game is and how you're "forced" to do the same things over and over every week. Here's what I'm confused about though. Why are you people acting as if damn near every other popular video game out there isn't practically the same damn thing? Let's look at some of the biggest game series out there, I'm just gonna list some that're, to me, some of my favorites, but also some of what I believe are the most popular or most played games currently: - Call of Duty. I'm including any of the games that're currently out, I think we can all agree that this is still one of the most popular game series out right now. - Halo. Once again, including every one of the games that're out right now. This have to say this is and has been probably one of the most loved series of games out there and personally, I still love it even though I only play it occasionally. Halo will always have a special spot right in my heart. - GTA V. I really doubt there's enough people playing the older games for them to be considered, so I'm leaving them out. - The Division. Ah, the game that was destined to kill Destiny (See what I did there?). The game that so many people said was going to destroy Destiny and leave it in the dust with only a few dedicated players like myself behind. Personally, I never touched or wanted to touch The Division. The moment I saw videos on YouTube about it, I knew it wasn't my type of game, and it honestly looked like a watered down, overhyped, slower (As far as gameplay.) wannabe Destiny. Never liked it, never touched it, never will. Moving on. - Any sports games like 2K or Madden. I know these games are popular mostly with casual gamers and people who play sports but still popular nonetheless. - Gears of War. A series that I was personally obsessed with because of the story before I got Xbox Live, I feel like this game was pretty popular and still is fairly liked and popular. Maybe not as much as some of the other games I've listed, but it's still up there. - Overwatch. Another game that I see to be a little bit like Destiny. However, I don't look at this one so negatively like I do The Division. Overwatch, from what I've seen, almost seems like the more multiplayer focused, a lot less serious, more kiddy, fun, wild and playful version of Destiny. I kind of look at it as the game that is Destiny players jump on for a little while after Destiny pisses us off or something. But it's a little too kiddy for me to purchase myself, so the only way I'll play it is probably second hand through my little brother if he decides to get it. Most, if not every single one of these games is just as repetitive if not more repetitive than Destiny. With Call of Duty, all people do now is play Zombies and online Multiplayer over and over and over again, just like we do the same with Raids and the Crucible. With Halo, although Halo is probably a lot more fun due to things like private matches, forge, and other things, all people do on that game is multiplayer multiplayer multiplayer, just like most players find themselves doing Crucible Crucible Crucible. Or whatever your mix of Crucible and PvE may be. GTA V, all people do in this game is drive/fly around in free roam and mess with each other until someone says "Anyone wanna to do a heist? I need cash." And don't you dare go into that game with a level as high as or higher than 200. If you do you will have little kids all over your ass asking if you can mod them money. And trust me, as someone whose been a legitimate level 350+ for a while now, I can tell you, that game gets pretty repetitive. The Division. I don't even need to say anything else about this game. We all know why we heard about it less and less since two or three months after its release. If sports games aren't repetitive, then I don't know what is. Gears of War. From any videos I've watched on the new Gears, all people did was play the campaign to find out what happened and then get straight into multiplayer. Once again, same that happens in Destiny but be get DLCs that, at least to me, make the game better and refresh it every time a new one releases. The hype is real for me every time we get a DLC. Overwatch. Although this game seems a lot to me like the more playful, cartoon-like, silly version of Destiny, from what I see, most if not all of what everyone does on that game is multiplayer. Every one of the games I listed here are just as, if not way more repetitive than Destiny, so why do people on these forums act like it's not true? This is really what video games are, and I will never understand why people use these arguments to try and say that Destiny is a bad game.
