Bungie Day is over, and I lost interest in the thread = ...
People new to the Community - Responses > using Charity as an excuse. = Boring, others came up with productive an interesting counters, but way to many took the lazy route.

Wait, you said you gotta pay for it. You pay for whatever you buy and that thing is just a bonus to show oflther people in game that you bought something. Chill out bro.

14 RespuestasBungie: Hey guys, it's Bungie Day, the holiday you guys made to honor us! Cancerous Part of Community: GIVE US COOL STUFF YOU OWE US BUNGO Bungie: We think that we can make this day special by benefiting others who need help! So, if you purchase any item from the Bungie store, all the money will go to the Bungie Foundation for charity! CPC: HOW DARE YOU MAKE US PAY MONEY FOR OUR GIFTTTT Bungie: And to commemorate this day and the altruistic donation you made to help others, we'll give you a special emblem in game to remember it! CPC: OMG BUNGO WE'RE PAYING FOR EXCLUSIVE ITEMS IN-GAME??? SELLOUTS GREEDY FOR MONEYYYYYY Bungie: ....ffs

Oh no, a piss yellow emblem you get for buying something on the store with proceeds going to charity? Oh the humanity! People making such a huge fuss over such a non issue are kind of funny. And kind of sad.
-
4 RespuestasIt all goes to charity, one of which consists of Make-A-Wish, which helped me get through my disease, so if I get the chance to, you bet your bottom dollar I'm gonna buy something. Don't care if it's morals are cheap or not, (Which they aren't).
-
4 RespuestasFunny thing is when I go into the Bungie store and look at the price for the shirt it says the shirt is over $700 just to buy one
-
100% of proceeds are going to charity, and on top of that it's an emblem, one of the smaller cosmetic items in the game. if that's what you're complaining about, you've got some real first-world problems.
-
#Feedback just called, they want their post back.
-
I'm beginning to see why they didn't release on PC
-
bungie day is a community made event, bungie don't really need to give us anything, but they do. this year it two emblems and two shaders in destiny, and all the money from their store going to charity.
-
4 RespuestasWho cares. If you don't like their business practices, don't support them. Don't be like everybody else who decides to complain about Bungie at least once a year.
-
If 100% of money made goes to charity I'm fine with that. Not like I play bungie games anyways so I don't need a bunch of free stuff.
-
2 RespuestasThis isn't surprising. Find better things to complain about.
-
Let's just appreciate the shirt that costs $777,727.77
Though we all know what that discount code does.
-
4 RespuestasTwo free, unique, armor shaders, and two emblems wasn't enough for you as Bungie Day presents? The 7-7 Ad infinite emblem is an addition bonus for the charitable. Just like previous emblems before it. There's nothing wrong with that, but that's just my own, personal, opinion.

8 RespuestasEditado por tjustie: 7/8/2016 1:15:04 AMI honestly don't see the problem with what they're doing. All the money is going to charity, it's just a little extra incentive to donate for their user base. Donate and get a little cosmetic bling to show off in game as well. Sounds fine to me. It's kinda like the Bf4 Premium dog tags, except Battlefield Premium revenue didn't go to charity. Selling special in game cosmetics is hardly new. Most of the time your money isn't going to charity though.

3 RespuestasEditado por Erijian: 7/8/2016 1:15:20 AMIf all the money is going to charity, isn't it pretty much a: "Help donate and get a(n) x and in-game Emblem" scenario rather than a sellout one? Sucks that there's something not obtainable without paying on ol Bungo day, though.

14 Respuestas1) To be fair, your not being forced to get anything 2) 100% of profit starting today thru july 13 goes to charity (which is always good) 3) It kind of is there day you know....what they decide to do shouldnt have to do with your opinion on the matter. Its kind of like a birthday really......im sure you got money as a gift at least one time in your life besides a present. 4)......thats all i got lol

1 RespuestaThey are just tryna to scrap every penny out of us.
-
2 RespuestasI would be a little mad, if that was the only emblem or "thing" given for Bungie day. They added moments of triumph for Y2, the rewards being 2 emblems and 2 shaders, so it's not like the only destiny thing given is behind a $25 shirt purchase.
-
1 RespuestaDecided to play a few games on destiny after a few months. First match I joined 3 people have this emblem already.
-
Surprise surprise
-
1 RespuestaI just found a thread complaining about charity, woop!
-
2 RespuestasA thread complaining about charity.... Huh, and after 8 years on this forum I thought I had seen it all. Well done OP, you are now Jack Thompson.
-
5 RespuestasDid you read (idk where t is listed on pc; mobile it's on top of the screen on a banner) that 100% of earnings from the bungie store (idk the time span) is going to the Bungie Foundation?

A bungie vs the world, but in destiny might be fun. The whole pvp thing is so unbalanced but playing with bungie is always fun.
