Agreed. Autos should kill a rusher from across the room. However, either due to lag, damage referee, or weird spreads, I've noticed that sometimes shotguns will only deal like half damage from close range. And that's aiming at the chest, which you should always do unless it's the Chaperone or Universal Remote. Also, I'll note that sometimes I'll fill a guy's kneecaps with buckshot and he'll die. Weird.
