I think that when he starts his shoulder charge melee it should go straight no more turning 90 degrees or instantly jumping 5m mid charge

I say just leave it to Bungie. I hate all the nerf any and everything in the game but I now question if every disgruntled hunter didn't go out and build a striker titan as the crucible of late has been a maze of lightning grenades and guys running shotgun and shoulder charge the entire match. People defend the ability to counter it but it is actually hard to kill them if they are using titan skate with your primary before they can close the distance. That only speaks to the sad state of primary weapons but it is true none the less. I am against any nerfs and don't think they should wreck another subclass but any one who doesn't see a certain writing on the wall here is just blind.

I like a sound effect. Maybe a loud running noise. Maybe the shoulder charge perk should lower armor like blink now lowers recovery. Or the hitbox should be smaller like blink strike. The pain of shoulder charge isnt based on camping or not being good. Its the connection issues where someone teleports and kills you 20 feet from where you were just shooting them. Had a similar problem with a stormtrance hitting me from halfway across the map yesterday. On my screen im shooting him from about max scout range and getting zapped. On his id guess hed already made his way to me.

Adding the sound effect sounds like a genuinely good idea. It gives other players a couple of extra seconds without touching the core mechanics of the ability. I like it. The agility reduction? Not so much. Don't wreck an entire subclass because players don't like being on the recieving end of a single move.

Don't fix what isn't broken. Best solution is to adapt to it and find a way to beat it. I've beaten a shoulder charge. And I suck at PvP.
