This Iron Banner, I've landed in too many matches with players leaving early because of a sloppy lead, and a game in general that ends in a 2v6 or so. This is just ridiculous. Why should players who want to stay in a match suffer because other people don't wish to stay? Give a timeout to them, say an hour or two, for leaving multiple matches. This would prevent them from leaving so frequently just because you're down by a few kills.

1 RespuestaWhat's the point in staying in a match with red bars that's basically getting spawned trapped through walls edition?
-
No I'm not playing the trashy dreadnaunt maps so I quit out of them not my fault map where playing on isn't told until after you cannot back out
-
1 Respuestahow about we lose the whole SBMM instead and people stop being try hards. Played 3 games yesterday against 6 hunterards using shotguns as prmaries. Its not fun. You get rush by three people at the time, at most you trade with one unles you have a super. The maps are catering to people intend on ruining the experience for others.

1 RespuestaJust as long they discerned between those that are dropped by their connection.

With how shitty bungies servers are doing i don't think it's time to have this conversation.

1 RespuestaPlaying iron banner last night six man team. Rough match but I'm willing to stick it out and 4 of us get booted to orbit. Our connections looked good last I checked. Im sure other team thinks we left on purpose.

4 RespuestasI remember when Black Ops 2 implemented a penalty for leaving early. For 5 min, you couldn't join another match. I think it had to be three times within a certain time period to get the penalty. Treyarch couldn't tell the difference between leaving voluntarily or lagging out. So a lot of people got penalized even though they wanted to stay in that match. If people did leave matches on their own and my team was down a man or more, I didn't care. There's always another match coming up. Day after day, month after month, this game or some other game, there's always the next match. So I left whenever I wanted to. If I didn't like the map. Or if there was too much lag. Maybe the other team camped too much and I got bored. Not to mention the times I lagged out. Bottom line, no amount of penalizing is going to prevent me from leaving a match. I play video games for entertainment and enjoyment. If you want me to stay no matter what, then you can do the following things. Pay for my game Pay for my Xbox Pay for my internet Pay for my Xbox live account Pay for my time playing said game Then you can tell me what I can and cannot do while playing Destiny.

1 RespuestaA better solution would be to matchmake randoms against randoms and real fireteams vs real fireteams
-
I actually joined a game today, and my best friend was on top on the other team and I was the only one on my team. Needless to say, as much as I wanted to play against him, I left since it was a 1v6 and the other team was in the lead by thousands of points when I joined.

Local based connections would help

3 RespuestasNo we dont. We need mercy rule modified to actually work before the team as a whole leaves. And we need to end matches with mercy rule when more than 3 Players leave in a 30s time window so we dont get dropped in losing matches. Thats the real problem. Bungie got the tools, they just dont use them correctly.

Matchmaking is terrible so I don't blame them for leaving some games.

So I get thrown into a game down 4,000 to 2,000 and as I'm flying in I hear "Heavy ammo inbound" and literally take two steps from my spawn and catch a rocket to the face and I'm supposed to stay or take a penalty? Not only no but hell no I'm leaving that match the second I can pull out my ghost to go to orbit.

4 RespuestasYou can't create these error codes and then punish us when the game kicks us out. Fix scatter grenades Fix SBMM FIX THE FRIGGIN GAME!!

I only really leave when it's Iron Banner. But specifically when I'm playing against people who are teleporting all over the place, don't take any damage and kill me with Universal Remote on the other side of the map. It's annoying when we have to join a game in progress (but sometimes I join ones that are winning, not just losing), but penalising people for leaving when Bungie still can't get rid of the excessively bad lag is unfair

1 RespuestaBattleborn has a good system. If you leave a game you cannot start another game until that one has ended. The way I see it, is it has two pluses and a minus + If you are leaving for real world problems you can rejoin the same game as your slot is yours until the game is over - If someone leaves and doesn't come back a new player can't join because that slot is filled. + Because that slot is filled there is no joining a terrible match in progress
-
They should implement the system they had in Halo Reach. If you quit X amount of games, you can't play online for 15 minutes.

1 RespuestaIf teammates leave, I am okay with that. I will sit down in the middle of the Mao and let the mercy happen faster, because that means I get to the reward screen faster. People who leave just forfeit chances as loot, which is kind of the whole point of IB.

1 RespuestaEditado por juicestain1208: 6/30/2016 9:13:46 PMIt's not in my nature at all, but I've been leaving matches a lot this Iron Banner because I'm tired of getting matched against teams of 6 when me and most if not all of my team are solo players. I try to catch it before it finishes matchmaking, but most of the time it happens too fast. I like your idea, I really do... But only so long as Bungie fixes their broken-ass matchmaking.

I think 15 to 30 minute cool down for the first early departure doubling the cool down each time you leave early in a 24 hour period! Sometimes things come up and you just have to leave so 15 to 30 minutes wouldn't bother those with real reasons to bail.
-
No. Theres no reason to punish people just because some kid is a little upset the team quit and hes being curb stomped.

6 RespuestasEditado por StrikeKing023: 6/30/2016 12:27:42 PMThere is no incentive to stay. You get 0 rep for a loss, so what's the point of sticking around?

They are penalized with a loss and no item drop. That is enough for destiny. If you want leaver penalties go play a moba like smite.
