Hoping that Bungie see this soon and able to fix it before my autistic son has a meltdown. Following feedback from some other people on here it looks like we've found a flaw/bug in the Refer-A-Friend system.
If a parent uses Microsoft's parental controls to control purchases of Microsoft Store content and/or DLC's then the refer a friend breaks because the purchase goes through the parents account on the Xbox, and then the child does not get to benefit from the refer-a-friend quests or bonus equipment.
This is going to devastate my son who loves Destiny and we've purchased another Xbox One and a second copy of TTK so he can enjoy the game with his older sister.

11 RespuestasHello again. I saw that you created this thread so, I am going to help shed some additional light on this. Players that want to do the Refer-a-Friend Quest need to have Destiny: The Taken King on their individual accounts and not "game-shared". Bungie does not have any control over game sharing as this is a console feature. I think it may be best that you bring your position to Microsoft.
