There's plenty of ways to counter snipers lmfao. Even sniping is an easy way to counter other snipers.
You're obviously the person who just stays in the their lane and feeds them kills. When you start closing the gap really fast on someone whose relying on sniping for kills they panic pretty quick and don't know what to do.

Yeah they panic and either somehow still pull off the head shot due to the ease of sniping in Destiny or they body shot grenade/primary/melee.

Dude, I can't be bothered to tally it up but IF I have more ability kills than primary, it's not by much. Let me guess, you're a Nightstalker who shoots people while they're tethered or smoked and thinks "hell yeah, that was 100% a PRIMARY kill." Lmao...

Don't know what to tell you moron... the difference isn't too large. I also have about twice as many primary kills as special kills... *shrug*. The whole thing is totally irrelevant to talking about dealing with snipers ANYWAY. BUT... You did the only thing forum trash can do. Which is run and stat check instead of actually intelligently discussing something. And lacking anything particularly "juicy" to use against me, you had to seize on some meaningless metric that you invented. I'll admit, I have seen bashing before when people have more SPECIAL kills than primary but I have never seen ANYONE bashing anyone for ability kills. So you have sunk to a new low for stupidity champ. Congrats. If you want to go play some "plain jane" shooter where everyone runs around with the same handgun and auto rifle and jerk yourself off because you can hold a reticule on a target 0.04% better than someone else, go nuts. Destiny has abilities and it's fun and effective to use them. It's your loss if you have a "primarry killz iz betur hurr hurr" fetish.

Yes there are ways to counter snipers, but would you agree it happens too often that you are shooting an enemy sniper and he blains you? I know that if you're playing against snipers, just stay out of their lane. But today I was going face to face against one. I shot him twice with my pulse rifle which has high caliber rounds, and he still headshot me. Doesn't this happen a bit too often?

Its happens far to often, doesnt matter how much you flank or close the gap if the sniper can still get the kill in between shots

I've noticed bullet lag in the game, where they're not receiving the impact until after they've already headshotted me. It could also be the unflinching perk on the sniper rifle if it has that roll.

If you can quickly and effectively maneuver in a manner that closes the distance, most "snipers" are gonna get nervous. Then you have all the opportunity you need to get the drop on them & thusly use your own fighting style rather than being pinned down by theirs.

K, use a high impact scout/shotgun setup. Even a high RoF pulse rifle or one with high impact works. If the other player is obviously more skilled/better than you, you're still going to lose even if they don't snipe and decide to melt your face with an auto rifle or hand cannon.
