I don't understand. It seems as though every forum topic is "Nerf this. Nerf that"
It's kinda getting irritating seeing nerf posts after nerf posts. It's a game (unbalanced yes, but name an fps that doesn't have imbalance?) And should be treated as such, not a way of life. If a battle doesn't go your way, accept that you just lost to someone who was either better than you, or just played better than you did during that one encounter.
Nerfing everything has literally turned this game into a slow, boring special weapon fest to the point that now it's abilities that people are calling for nerfs on. It's ridiculous.
Now the new thing seems to be shoulder charge. That has literally stayed the same way since launch without a single word associated with it other than something fun to use and annoying to be killed by, but never OP. Now that everything is slow as shit, primaries suck, and special ammo isn't the easiest to hold onto, now it's abilities that needs the nerf hammer next?
Get a grip. Everything that you lose to isn't broken.
Broken things in destiny's past?
Pocket infinity
Vex
Maybe Felwinters (MAYBE but only in the case of shot package)
Suros (Vanilla, also questionable)
Thorn
TLW (Only cause of ADS glitch)
Sunbreaker at ttk launch
Bladedancer in y1 maybe?
Blink was a little stupid in y1 too.
And some of those are questionable too.
Everything else has literally been fine. The nerf posts have to stop. As irritating as getting crossed mapped by a thorn was, crucible was fast paced and it was actually fun.
How bout we start buffing things..?
Edit: Spelling
Edit 2: I'm seeing alot of replies about hit detection (or lack thereof), lagging, red bars that hit you and you can't hit them, dying through walls and what not. Yes those all contribute to the horrible experience that is Destiny pvp right now, but that's not what I'm referring to. My post is directed towards those that claim that everything that killed them is obviously better than what they have and should be brought to the ground, rather than bringing other options up to speed.
Yes I believe primaries are extremely weak (Except scouts. And HC's are too inconsistent), I think all need buffs, whether that be to damage, range, or to the registration of bullets. But what I am saying is that this constant cycle of Dying>run to forums>spend 15 min typing a great Wall of China in text about how OP something is (especially when it's not) has completely changed the way the game is played.
Completely. This game is no longer a moderately fast paced shooter similar to a Halo-type gameplay. It's slow. It's hardscope-filled because primaries are shooting pellets instead of bullets, and special ammo is thin so people camp with their snipers and wait for more special to spawn. Primaries are last resort guns now. Primaries
This is only my personal opinion obviously but the game is starting to become very boring. And with each update I feel as though my guardians just get weaker and weaker.
Yes I know. For god's sake I'm aware the netcode, the lack of dedicated servers, and hit detection in this game is an absolute atrocity. I'm talking about when you lose to something, it doesn't make it overpowered. It means you lost. That's that. Figure out the problem and adapt. It's like counterplay is some sort of ancient lost art that's unable to be grasped by anyone that plays Destiny (With the way the forums look atleast)
Dammit. I wrote my own great Wall of China... not that it'll help but here and there I do make a rant post lol. Forgive me.
2 RespuestasUnless these supreme idiot noobs that call themselves experts because of bloated K/Ds start understanding what causes red bars I don't want to hear shit from whining idiots, whose leader I would put on a patch is she's my nerd. Everyone stand up, Everyone that experiences lag or red bar, if you got internet connectivity to your home and you pay for it please stay standing the rest of you don't have a bucket to piss in when it comes to whining about anything. Now those that get connections and immediately go buy their own router and hook it up to the providers modem, and don't understand jack shit about static IP addresses, sit the f down your whining is shit too. If you get a router and hook it up to the providers modem the provider is only responsible for the quality of the signal up to the point of that modem. So quit blaming Bungie for all your problems. If you live within 200 yards of more than 12 other homes, apartments or businesses, and you are at 2.4Ghz, and all of the other residents have their own router just like you do, THEY are just as stupid and do NOT manage their IP address so every time their signal goes weak it will change to a stronger channel/ip address. It could be yours well then YOU go red bar. Best bet, go hardline from the providers modem to your system and watch it fly, otherwise unless you can control other variables you bitches need to STFU and finger your joy sticks and deal with bad internet. But stay off the dam forums and quit being a glorified asshat and screaming NERF. You do it, your an asshat and you will remember my words and you will just live with it.

4 RespuestasWelcome to the pussification of America. I bet most of the posts you are referring to are from teens and people in their twenties. Those of us that are older were raised in a different America than they're being raised in.

5 RespuestasPreach that shit. I'm a crap PvP player and was just doing this weeks "weekly crucible" for the sterling box, literally just for the box (heh heh box). I'm pretty bad at PvP but I topped my team with a modest 1.77 KD and 17 kills and maybe 5-8 captures (I didn't count the caps so don't hold me to that) and I get a freaking hate mail calling me a cheater and blah blah blah. I'm not red bar at all, just had an unusually decent game. I get my anus inverted in PvP regularly when I play and I've never cried or bitched or sent hate mail. Just take it in the rear end like a man and move on. I just cannot wrap my head around these immediately butthurt people for losing or if you get the better of them. I understand just as well as anyone that PvP can be uber frustrating but geez, it's as if you've made an personal attack on them as a person just for shooting them in a game. Stop being little biatches about losing or dying.

5 RespuestasEditado por US Rbl: 6/27/2016 8:26:58 PMI don't accept a scrub using 1000 yard bitch, hit me once pull out tlw for a quick kill. I don't see skill. Just a bitch Edit: this is not satire. It's wanna be sweaty try hards, running nothing but 1KS, or longbow. With TLW or Mida. The most annoying one is TLW for sure. Should of kept that in year one.

27 RespuestasThe problem is kids today don't believe in self improvement. Instead of striving to get better, kids would rather see something brought down to their level

1 RespuestaEveryone apparently needs a safe space and to feel equal to better all around players lol

3 RespuestasI'm seeing more posts saying to buff everything tbh

I completely agree, people are the reason this game is dying. Shoulder Charge getting nerfed? There's no reason for it to be nerfed I hate how this community is destroying the game. The game is awesome but the community is just awful
-
When I kill someone, it's a demonstration of my undeniable skill. If they kill me, it was one of the following reasons: -Lag -Cheating -Team shooting -OP gun -Surprised -Distracted -Super -Heavy -Remote out of battery Or -Needed to reload/heal There. Ok?
-
My most difficult adversary in Destiny's PvP is Bungie....
-
Because players will always use the most powerful, cheap, broken, or easy to use weapon or abilities. What do you do if you get melted cross map by a grasp of malok? That thing has like no impact.
-
2 RespuestasToo be honest I agree, but there are certain weapons that you have to admit are a bit op, namely Conspiracy Theory-D, Party Crasher+1, pre-nerf Super HoF autos( Doctrine, Arminius-D,Etc.). These guns have gotten or need justified nerfs. Otherwise I whole heartedly agree.
-
1 RespuestaBecause the Last Word still has the lowest kill time in the game, and Grasp's flinch is completely broken.
-
No one is out played. Just out lagged
-
I usually accept the fact I did something stupid rather than outplayed.
-
Because......
people are idiots
-
47 RespuestasWell there's being out played, then there's abilities that are out of balance that allows one to panic and come out winning the fight in circumstances that they truly shouldn't have. For example: Titan skating allows a Titan to close gaps faster than many primaries TTK. A Titan Titan skates and you're putting rounds in the Titan but realize you're not gonna kill it so you decide why not blink to avoid his SC? Well then the insane magnetism pulls the Titan to you and kills you and your melee doesn't register since SC has a higher priority in registration. you call something like that outplayed? Yeah bullshit.
-
exactly.
-
I've found that when I get the most upset, it's almost always with myself. I like to blame the other person or lag or shotguns etc...but once I calm down I resize I was mad at myself for not playing better
-
1 RespuestaEditado por Wii: 6/27/2016 7:11:04 PMI'd like to think that this community is smart and the people that post for nerfs are bungie employees that are scared about losing their jobs so they need to do something to make themselves look busy.
nah, who am I kidding? This community is made up of little brats who parents never taught them the world doesn't revolve around them.
-
Easier to get buff/nerf than adapt :(
-
Some debuffs are not need like mida was good and was far game but since it was used so often people complain about it.i admit that I get annoyed from a guy just running a shotgun nothing else, but people need to think about what they complain about before saying it needs debuff. Yes some things are overpowered but not as much as you think. People will out play you.

Editado por panzerfaust: 6/27/2016 7:05:52 PMThe 'net code' is an urban legend... The closest I would call 'net code' is the TCP stack (and yes, it stinks on the PS4, but that's Sony's fault). And even assuming the so called 'net code' is the stack from Destiny that interact with the lower TCP/IP layers, it's damn good and solid considering this trans-atlantic bullshit they made. Obviously if you are going to mask 240ms latencies under green, a lot of weird shit happens on the clients, like being shot behind a wall.... still the stack seems to handle it nice. Stop that non-sense bullshit about 'net code'. Unless you have at least one patch submitted to the BSD TCP stack, you aren't allowed to talk about it. People accept their deaths... I even made what I believed to be impossible today, pure ownage with the Red Death abusing the Gunslinger stability bonus for an over 15 kill streak. Everyone knows Red Death stinks at the moment, but still, it worked :) To be honest, most of the community is always bragging because of what they read in the forums... People panic way too much and talk about things they shouldn't which lead to more panic'ed users...

I like Campbell's Chicken Noodle Soup. But not Chicken of Stars soup. The problem is the stars are too small. The soup ends up all mush. It's like eating soupy diarrhea.

I don't mind being outplayed but sometimes you just have those wtf moments, but then again it's just a game.
