Turns out when the bar above your ammo count turns yellow, you can activate this thing called a "Super" by pressing the left and right bumpers at the sane time. This "Super" can then be used to easily destroy enemies to generate little glowing balls called "Orbs of Light". These "Orbs of Light" help charge your allies' "Supers" which can be exploited to generate more "Orbs of Light" to keep the "Super" train chugging along.
Bonus fun fact: I can totally see when your Super is up and you're just refusing to use it because you need to save it for the entirety of the Strike for some reason only to not even use it on the final boss. I literally created four Supers worth of orbs for you during the entire Strike. There's no way you didn't get one Super to use and then immediately get another from my orbs.

Xbox low grimoire babies don't know what a super is.

1 RespuestaEditado por Life Is Crap: 6/27/2016 9:05:17 PMAs a Defender Main this annoys me. I am literally an Orb Factory so you can use your Supers to kill the things easier, but you'd rather hit them with a Pea Shooter for some reason. Also, anytime I'm punching Thralls with Gift of Light (Melee kills during Force Barrier generate orbs) to make Orbs for the team and somebody starts trying to take the kills also confuses me. Do you not want constant Supers? Because this is how you don't get constant Supers

3 RespuestasMy super is "A" left bumper is jump and right bumper is grenade.

10 RespuestasAnother neat feature is
mute
I hold my super so my nades recharge twice as fast.

1 RespuestaSometimes I like to save mine (though not for too long) for spots in each level where I know I can smash a lot of guys at once with death from above. No better feeling than air raiding a big group of bad guys and popping seven orbs.
-
I've been seeing a lot of good chains going in strikes lately
-
It is just sad when people save super for whole strike when we use ours everytime we get it then they use it on boss just so they can say i made 3 orbs in 1 super i am a god i dont care about helping teammates bow down to me
-
I really thought that yellow bar indicated how full my guardian's bladder was. I'm sorry I spent the whole strike trying to take a wiz. You kept coming up right next to me so I assumed my guardian had performance anxiety
-
2 RespuestasSorry. My super is broken. I activate it, kill enemies but i can't see light orbs.

So many people on this forum try to dictate how others play.. It's embarrassing, to say the least. It's a massive display of stupidity and ignorance.

1 RespuestaTakes about 8 to 24 minutes to charge

My super IS Tlaloc with Overcharge active and I can channel that Super energy through my gun for 80% of a strike thank you very much ;) --- To be fair, if I see enough orbs to generate 2/3 of a super on the ground I will use my super on the next viable target and go back for the orbs. But I do consider an Overcharged Tlaloc to be a somewhat valid use of a super. The DPS increase is significant and sustained, which against most enemies is very worthwhile.

7 RespuestasWhat you need is.....
Super Pack Rounds
1 RespuestaI use mine a lot, but I try to wait for the right moment. A lot of people get really into the battle and forgot that Shadow Shot can rain down orbs, but they have to wait until the enemies are tethered. Countless times I've shot an arrow, only to have a teammate clear out the mob with FoH or a Nova Bomb or something before it tethers. If they would have waited one second longer, they'd probably have their super charged immediately. I get that people are just in the moment. That's why I wait until we can get the most out of it. Nightstalker is arguably a support class, so I try to help out my team as much as I can.

People who run sunsinger on heroic strikes and don't use their super should just be banned from gaming....I cannot agree more with OP
-
2 RespuestasI save mine for the very end of the Strike as the countdown to orbit commences. That's when it's most effective. =3 Just kidding. I'm kidding!

I discovered last night that there are triggers on the underside of my controller!
I still don't know what they are used for, though.....
10 RespuestasI will see your super and raise you a defender titan with the orb generation layout. 2 orbs from super 3 with The Crest 3 orbs from the bubble taking damage. 1 orb per melee kill while force barrier is active. Chance to generate orb on a heavy weapon kill Chance to generate orb on a precision kill with an element of your choosing. All orbs generated by a defender are the large orbs unlike a storm caller and nightstalker. Get on my level
-
9 RespuestasI like it when its arc burn and the dumbass stormcaller saves his super just to use on the boss only to do a -blam!- hair of health then get stomped and die The only supers that should be used on bosses is bubble, tether, and radiance. And even then you shouldn't save your super the entire game just for the boss. Every other super should be used for add clearing.

6 RespuestasLol u didn't now wut a super was haha noob

2 RespuestasI've seen the stairs during Undying Mind be devoid of orbs way too many times
-
the problem is everyone is thinking about them self, they don't take the time to consider that maybe their team mates need their supers, they save their supers for them self and use it only when they think they need it.
-
I thought you were gonna say your moms g-spot...
-
We must spread the word.

That is why I usually use voidwalker now. With obsidian mind it's a blast. With each use I get my super like halfway full, fill it with orbs, then another nova bomb. Good for 10+ orbs.
