Bungie, why can't u impose an hour ban for players that leave a crucible match when their team is losing. It sucks being the only player left after everyone leaves when they realize the team is going to lose. If u ban them for an hour and increase the ban time for each successive incident that would cut back a lot on these players from quitting a match and screwing up the whole team.
Thanks

Won't happen bro
-
Thats the main reason i dont play the crucible
-
U gonna have someone get banned for dropping out due to ddos? Lets arrange for u to be the first if this is made a thing.
-
Maybe I'm competitive mode but Destiny PvP doesn't have a rank playlist so no.
-
1 RespuestaYeah.. Nope. I'll leave for various reasons. Example. One guy picks up heavy when we're losing, and no enemies around.
-
An hour relax ...explosive diarrhea can't wait sometimes maybe 5 10 mins is a little more reasonable
-
Nah son. You can stay and play against squads of red bars. That's not for me.
-
Editado por meatlessboat: 6/29/2016 7:36:23 PMThat's all well and good, but what happens if my internet goes out? Or have an all too common problem with servers? Then I'll have to wait an hour and by that time I could be playing a different game or just go do something else. I do really like the idea of penalizing players for leaving, I've been left high and dry many times, but with a game that is notorious for having connection issues it's harder to do

Nope. Stupid feature to put temporary bans for leaving a video game. if it had a seperate league with an actual rank system, maybe I would agree to that one having it. But it really makes zero difference if you win or lose in regular crucible, and even iron banner as it is so easy to hit 5 now.
-
For regular Crucible, I don't think that could be implemented simply because of how casual Destiny's PvP is. Now for Trials and IB, I absolutely believe there should be some penalty for leaving early. It's supposed to be "end game" and the "most competitive" and yet, there aren't any real reasons to not leave if you're getting beaten badly or hop into a match and hear "heavy ammo inbound" or "fight back, control the zones."

2 RespuestasFrom playing smite which penalizes you for leaving even when your in queue, I like this idea. Unfortunately destiny is extremely casual. People that play this game aren't hyper competitive like they are in games like smite. So installing this feature would be nice, but the playerbase would probably be outraged and quit the game entirely...... Also on the note of real life causing you to quit. That's fine if you have to do this, but your playing a team based game. Playing said game knowing you might be interrupted means your not justified for leaving. You left snd a penalty should still be implied. Not saying it needs to be an hour.... but banning you for 5 minutes seems logical.
-
It's not about leaving it's how u leave. Match fireteams again fireteams Or have solo 6vs6 2 stay. But yeah if I have blueberries an no 1 trying I'm out. I took my beatings an got good. I'm not tryna keep getting stomped if my teammates can't team shoot or kill 1 guy. That's sad
-
If I don't plant the flag at the beginning of the match then I'm gone. It's not my fault Bungie doesn't want to make the flag planter.

1 RespuestaIf i'm playing banner against a good fireteam of 6 getting spawn trapped and my team mates are clueless which happens a lot......i'm gonna get the hell out of there!
-
Hey I'm not great but if I get tossed into a match 3000 down I'll finish it. Others will leave too and 9/10 you can turn it around. I only leave when getting squashed by red bars or obvious cheaters.
-
I would leave as team captain and get everyone banned on my team!
-
Tbh I'd leave a game with you. You're a goddamn potato. Maybe you should be banned for doing terrible in a game?
-
I have a feeling everyone responding is a quitter or a red barred Mexican.
-
1 RespuestaQuit your bitching and play the damn game.
-
What if shit goes down in real life, or you join a match in progress, where you're losing by a lot. Or your internet cuts out. Sorry dude, this is not a good idea. And with all these other, way bigger problems, I don't see this happening anytime soon. (Imo)
-
As soon as they stop matching me with unkillable lagging players, i'll stop leaving.
-
1 RespuestaOr they will kill the shitty pvp in this game because noone will want to play if there is a resrtiction on when they can leave.
-
1 RespuestaIf destiny had a consistent good quality experience I'd support this, but I don't think players should be punished for leaving matches with trash connections. Almost every match I just played in ib was completely awful connections.

It should really be more like a strikes system that logs every week and clears every month. Example: Assume a three strikes weekly policy. You can bail on a PvP activity up to three times in a week. After three strikes, you are locked out of PvP for 1 hour. Every three strikes after that doubles the lockout time (2 hours, 4 hours, 8 hours, etc.) At the end of the week, your actions are logged. Every lockout occurance is a conduct strike against your account for that month. If your account is flagged 3 times for poor conduct, you are locked out of PvP activities for the remainder of the month. At the end of the month, conduct strikes are cleared.
