Is it OP or just annoying?
I've been seeing a whole lot of 'nerf striker' posts all the sudden since the June update. People are saying they're OP. But question yourself 'Are they OP or just annoying?'
They are not OP. Shoulder charge only does exactly 200 damage; that's barely enough to kill someone. It is easily countered too I'll just list a few examples of counters: shotgun, keep your distance, wear a ram with max armour, run away, if you see a titan running at you be smart and run!
Juggernaut is also one thing that's being complained about. Which is also not OP just annoying. The shield can be easily broken. And again use common sense and run if you see a titan running at you with juggernaut.
Plus these things aren't even a problem in 3v3 playlists like trials. People are less agressive in trials and won't shoulder charge much and juggernaut can be countered by just playing less agressive and staying back. Just be smart.

Strikers are fine. People are either unaware or don't react fast enough. Use a shotgun. Don't have a shotgun?. Jump and shoot them in the back. It isn't hard.

If you are getting close enough to get shoulder charged, then you deserve it. This is coming from someone who has been playing as a Hunter most of the time.

Sadly I've been caught many times by all classes and knocked out my shoulder charge. If you are skilled enough you would be able to counter the move. I've stopped shoulder charging that much and changed my game play to using more weapons and out playing my opponents and other titans. If you play this game long enough you would be more aware of what's going around you and how to evade any up close attacks. This is a kill or be killed game! Damit we have weapons for a reason...Get more into the game and stop complaining expecting to get a bed of roses. PVE may be better for you.

It's more annoying than straight up OP but. But they need tweaked, NOT nerfed. Can they be countered sure but it's not easy. Plenty of times I have hit a charging titan in the face point blank with a shotgun, I died and the titan keeps on running. Also it really is damn near impossible to dodge one. For example titan is at point A, I'm at point B, I see the titan charging so i jump back and to the side to point C. While I'm still at the in the air at the top of my jump titan charges where I was at at point B and I die anyway despite being a good 20 feet away and in the air.

I just don't like the tracking. If you miss, you shouldn't 90 degree back at me and hit.

As someone who never uses a shotgun. It is very annoying. I dont consider it OP at all however. The most it deserves is some sort of timer/cooldown for balance issues. This is of course just a wish and not actually needed.

Like seriously people were defending Sunbreaker before the nerf. Now that they've managed to nerf the best pvp classes Strikers are clearly the most powerful. There are times when I outplay a shoulder charge only to have the hit detection spin them around 180 degrees and zigzag backwards. This is a problem. Storm fist overload 1hk is also a problem. Taking damage from Lightning grenades when you are clearly out of the electric animation is also a problem. Dying to FoH from behind a wall or on a different floor in they are above or below you is also a problem. Titan skating is a huge problem. Titans started all of this nerfing it's time that it comes full circle. No back up plans also needs a nerf.

Shoulder charge is only effective at the right place and time. I tried using it the other day and is most cases got stopped by damn shotguns. I even hit someone once, and they took 0 damage. Of course, that's the fault of SBMM, not shoulder charge itself.

Hunter main here. Yes it is annoying for people crying nerfs to everything that seems op nowadays but I just deal with it. I see no need for nerfs. You titans are fine just the way you are 😁

You people complain about one thing while using it, then, when it gets nerfed, complain that the nerfed was too much, proceed to find the easiest way to get kills, and complain about how that's "op." It's a horrible cycle that needs to stop.

Thank you. I was getting tired of crying Huntards and squishy warlocks. I just snipe them if they charge at me. Doesn't always work but thats half the fun of sniping em.

Juggernaut shield is bae. Especially in this meta where everyone is sniping. Tanking a sniper shot and watching them frantically try to switch to their primary, only to get shafted by a shotty is priceless.
