You wanted a YouTube video, I offered you my Twitch channel to see it live. The post we talked on was taken down and I didn't catch your username.
Well, just finished doing it and here are the first 3 games. Enjoy!
These videos not only show how many attempts fail for the people who don't see them, thinking that they all work, but they also show the little things that skilled chargers learn to do to increase the effectiveness, such as:
- Over-turning to the point where it breaks the aim assist and getting the kill from where your body is moving, this requires LOTS of practice and becomes a "feeling"
- Pushing the limits of the lunge distance/curve
- Staying extremely mobile and even weaving to dodge enemy fire
- Learning the exact timing of the Shoulder Charge activation window and manipulating the sprint to reset it at key times, this requires map awareness and planning
- Learning the enemy habits and play styles, similar skills needed to be good with Fusion Rifles
You can see each game gets better in regards to Shoulder Charge effectiveness the longer it goes on. You can also see that most people CHOOSE NOT to spec against my play style and THAT is why Shoulder Charge can be so effective, just like every other ability. If you're not set up to counter an ability and are playing in that ability's effective areas, you can't claim it to be OP. You're just ill-prepared and being stubborn. Learn to counter (mandatory "git gud" comment).
Yes, these are FULL GAMES, uncut, from fly-in to carnage report.

For instance, yes, thorn was a ridiculously good weapon and required you to run sunsinger/ram or red death to effectively counter, but it was really only good in the hands of someone who could pop two quick headshots on you and honestly, most players couldn't. The problem isn't things being too good, it's the crybabies being too bad at the game. They should never have nerfed thorn or Viking funeral, they should have implemented armor perks that defend against dot.
