Bungie, Your Crucible Is BROKEN. And Now Trials
Played some trials last night and every single game had a red bar blinking around.
It's not my internet.
It's the game.
At this point I don't anticipate they will ever fix this.
Now we get kicked every match. Gives us a loss and can't play.

1 RespuestaIf your being kicked every game it's to do with yours and your teams connection, unfortunately destiny requires a very stable connection which not everyone has, you might have the fastest net but if it isn't stable then you will run into problems every now and then

5 RespuestasPeople say that "it's your internet" but fail to realize that Bungie has P2P networking and sbmm on top of that. P2P networking makes it so that players share resources among each other instead of there being a central system. In a Connection based matchmaking system, P2P works fine, mainly because players are much closer to each other. But sbmm puts players from across the world against each other. This is a poor decision and is the origin of all the lag.

Yes, there are people that just have poor connections... But then there's the server setup (lack of dedi's), SBMM, poor netcode etc. Anyone on Xbox or PC that played Titanfall will tell you what good netcode and dedicated servers does for an online only PvP game... It means you can actually run on McDonald's Wi-Fi without causing horrendous lag. There's a guy who actually documented this, but he was running on his neighbors Wi-Fi connection that was unsecured. It was an extremely weak connection, but it played just fine. With Activision being as large as they are, I actually hold them responsible just as much as Bungie for not having the foresight to provide dedicated servers. How this was overlooked, or just plain disregarded is the real issue.

5 RespuestasIt isn't your internet. I have friends that experience connection issues while playing destiny. The issues vanish when they play different games. One of those friends even switched from a cable connection to att, which (no offense to anyone) is not nearly as good as a cable connection. He always shows a red bar on destiny but manages to do alright when he plays something different. This is anecdotal in nature, but you are not the only player having this issue.

4 Respuestasive given up on crucible mate. Im good at pvp but its getting ridiculous the amount of red bar scumbags. Dont even get me started on this damage referee bullsh!t. PVP is completely broken in destiny. The fools that say its not are either brainless or they are red bar scumbags.
