What are your guys opinions on nerfing hunters?

Why nerf trip mines and throwing knives, only the lord knows. I'm not mad at shade step nerf, but it hurts in PVE now. I use to shade step through fallen and vex, that nerf should just be pvp. Or the exotic should give you a second one. That is all.

1 RespuestaThey really messed up the Hunter in pve. They nerfed the best grenade they had in pve and took away the one thing about it that was fun. Sticking a phalix shield was the best was to be rid of them. The shade step nerf has almost gotten me killed a couple times because of stupid hit boxes on their maps and no second shade step to make up for hitting an invisible corner.

I'm glad they did

I main hunter and I don't mind the most of the nerfs but I agree with what everyone is saying about the trip mines. They shouldn't have been nerfed, I can see the no more sticking thing, I actually like watching them spin in midair before going off when you hit someone, but the fact that gunslinger nades are now very poor in PvP disappoints me. Trip mines should be a one shot in the right conditions.

I main a hunter in PvP. Shade step spamming needed changing as did the smoke. Trip mines shouldnt have been nerfed nor throwing knives as now the gunslinger has no grenade which can kill someone from full health. I dont play blade dancer all that much but from what ive heard blink is destroyed. The buffs to the nightstalker were nice though, tether working on impact... no idea why it was put into the game without this working.

2 RespuestasIt great, but not enough

Total garbage, I get the whole trip mines are supposed to be traps and not sticking to enemies, but they didnt need the damage reduction, grenades are tools that help secure kills not hopelessly tickle the opposition untill they kill you leaving you to wonder why. Now when I depend on my tripmine to save me they just detonate leaving the enemy alive to kill me before I can even recover from the throw. how is that "fair and balanced" when hunters only have a small handfull of grenades that are actually useful verses titans and warlocks that have more than their fair share of perfectly lethal grenades. Nerf my arminius d, nerf my shade step, nerf the living hell out of every single thing hunters hold dear, but leave my trip mines out of it.

1 RespuestaThey were fine for the most part. The shadestep abuse and smoke grenade were extremely annoying, but I'll stand by what I told everyone a couple of months ago. If they nerf my warlock, I would rally for a hunter nerf. They did both. Neither should of been nerfed or at least not to the degree we saw. Viking funeral is a joke, and tripmine wasn't even a issue.

Best thing Bungie ever did
