You Know What Sucks, Bungie? *NOT A RANT POST AT BUNGIE*
You know what sucks? Is the fact I can't do the Chaperone quest. I have completed every prerequisite. Except one. It is literally the stupidest thing. I don't have The Last Word. And despite close to 20 Primary Engrams, still nothing. I'm not complaining about lot, however. But The Last Word is a gun I have been after forever, but when I found out about The Chaperone, I knew I had to have it. But I can't, because I don't have The Last Word. So, back to 3oC I go, hoping for a Primary Engram. Wish me luck.

1 RespuestaThe Last word isn't a drop, it's from a quest from Amanda Holliday - You need to get a considerable kill streak with The Chaperone in crucible.

1 RespuestaSomeone told me once that if you do the Chaperone quest and just run around with shotgun or sniper that you wont have backward progress on it. So have last word equipped, but never die with it in your hands. Don't know if that's true. My dumbass got it the hard way. Then Srl came and I basically got another for free.

Ikr, I have both TLW and The Chaperone on Xbone, but I can't even start the quest on PS beCAUSE I DONT HAVE TLW

5 RespuestasNot 100% sure but can't you just buy the year one TLW from the year one tab on the exotic board by the vanguard? Friends were talking about this late night on their alternate PS4 accounts as they main on Xbox, I haven't tried as don't need anything...interested if it is true.

8 RespuestasI'm getting it tomorrow! Completed all the other quests. Thankfully, got The Last Word from the Nightfall 2 weeks before. You can complete the quest in 2 days or less.

If xur is selling legacy primary enhrams that may work and then buy it off the wall after unlocking the y1 version.

I've been playing this game since about last November. And I don't have the Last Word either!!! WTF Destiny! I always get a handful of Hawkmoon instead. And I almost positive Xur has not sold it this year. So lame

2 RespuestasThe Last Word kills are easy. Equip a shotgun (I used Conspiracy Theory) in Classic 3v3 and it's a breeze.

2 RespuestasIf you're really hell bent on getting one, legacy primary engrams from xur will probably give you the best odds. It'll be year 1, but at least you'll be able to do the quest then.

1 RespuestaIf your gonna win a match, you can equip TLW right before the end. It's a exhausting slow progression, but It'll happen eventually. I got lucky, went 5.67 kd on Pantheon in control with TLW, was 67% in one match. The next few matches, threw it on when I had super at the end of leading matches for a few easy kills. Good Luck
