I main a voidwalker but I think Embrace the Void should be tweaked. Not buffed, not nerfed, but tweaked. The heal, super, and grenade energy on one attack is just too good. I'd rather see EtV only trigger energy drain without the heal but to compensate have Surge and/or Life Steal trigger on grenade and super kills (depending on gear/perks). This way you have to choose between the heal, increased agility, or super energy when EtV triggers.

Embrace the Void doesn't restore super energy any more than a kill usually would. It triggers the Energy Drain effect that reduces grenade cooldown. It does not trigger the talent you have attached to you melee ability. The health regeneration too is part of EtV and is independent of any melee talents.

Yes I understand that. EtV works with Soul Rip but not Life Drain or Surge. I feel that it would be better balanced if EtV worked with all the melee perks instead of just one. As it stands now there's no point in trying to use Surge. Surge would be great if it worked with EtV and a Ram/Monte Carlo build for a high armor/high agility melee build.

I'm pretty sure EtV does not work with Soul Rip. I'll test it when I get the chance and make sure, but I'm 90% certain it won't trigger any of the melee talents.

I stand corrected. However I still feel that removing the heal from EtV and allowing EtV to trigger melee perks would be a better deal than the way it works now.

Its perfectly fine the way it is in fact not many people use it

True vanguard made a vid on the vampire voidwalker set up, it's crazy how fast you get your abilities back. The health regen on ability kills is insane! Unfortunately, expect a nerf on that soon.

Voidwalker grenades are probably the thing I get killed least by
