It takes effort to get more super time at no expense? It takes more effort to throw a fusion nade that'll probably lock onto the target long before it even reaches him? You don't have much experience with sunsingers do you?

In the noobs eyes, easy kills from easy grenades with op burns is better than long supers and grenades that have to be within 5 feet of an enemy to hit. I personally usually use double fusion nades with the longer super thing on the rare occasion I play warlock.

Well most people for get that sunbreakers sunstrike burn is as strong as a scorch with the current VK. It burns for 5.5 seconds. VK makes burn last 6 seconds. That's only one tick of damage different. Also you can pretty well compare the incendiary nade to the fire bolt. Incendiary nades have a natural burn and do more base damage and don't have a tag limit. Firebolts just do more DoT damage, so it actually takes longer for a firebolt to kill than any other grenade. In that time you can bring other people to the grave with you. But I guess some people just aren't ambitious or smart enough to know that.

People want to be able to kill people by shooting them once and then hitting them with a grenade when they run away and letting them burn slowly. Literally no effort. That's why they chose it.

Editado por Levigumba, Overload's Bane: 6/15/2016 2:19:37 AMYou can do the same thing with just about and other grenade. The only grenades that take skill to use are the swarm, spike, pulse, and thermite and I will say normal scatter nades require proper placement, so the take a little skill. Fusion/flux/magnetic nades do all the work. Literally little effort. Skip nades do most of the work. Shot them once and they're dead. You have a really poor argument saying that the grenade does most of the work when there are other nades that also do most or even all the work with no upgrades needed. Axion bolt does most of the damage. Solar Flare and Vortex are devastating on their own if you don't move out fast enough doing most of the damage. Incendiary nades burn for half as long, but they burn naturally and do a shit ton more base damage. While flashbang and suppression nades don't burn, the do the same base damage and all three's blast radii are equal to the hit tag radius of firebolt. Flashbang also blinds and suppression well suppresses, both limiting your opponent's options. Most sunsingers don't even use the shot once-tag tactic. It's a bad idea. If they leave your sight and revive a teammate then it's their fault for not ensuring the kill. Sunsingers almost always ensure the kill.

Editado por TallWhhhiteBoy: 6/15/2016 2:19:17 AMFirebolts are easier to use and more consistent, Also have more range. You hit and it does 180ish damage, while incendiaries may do 170 and then burn them but may do 2 damage and burn for about 30.
-
You are completely right on the incendiary nade though. The 2 damage would come from hitting them directly with the nade and the other numbers are sound.
-
Yea, incendiaries might one hit or they might do as much as a scout rifle body shot. Just less consistent. Although we will probably see more bow that they nerfed tripmines.
-
The only reason it was inconsistent is because at close range it takes longer to detonate. Firebolt's detonation time is the same regardless. We still haven't talked about skip nades. They may not burn, but they do the same damage even faster and are pretty consistent.
-
They made bladedancer use more energy every swipe so I think less people will use it.
-
Ah, but if you hit someone it takes less energy. It's basically the same thing they did to fireborn. It last shorter, but the number of grenades for it remain the same.

Firebolts do 162 damage max. When arcbolts got nerfed so did firebolts. Their base damage changed from 97 to 85. To make up for this they gave VK one more tick of damage. It used to be 167 total. ToF did the ignite and 5 ticks of 7 damage. VK doubled the number of ticks to 10 original. So 7 x 10 = 70 + 97 = 167. Going back to the nerf subtract 12 damage and add 7 for the additional tick added. 167 - 12 = 155 + 7 = 162. Get your numbers straight son.
