First off I THINK DROPPING LAST GEN IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO. BUT,
Why are you being SO RUDE to the people on last gen all of the sudden?
I play on PS4 and PC. I have the current hardware. But I'm not on here assblasting last gen players!
The second they announced that change I was happy because that means we'll probably get more vault space, but I knew it would turn into a civil war on here.
Be understanding. We are all human beings and there is no need to be so rude to people who might not be excited about dropping $400 for a console, $60 for Destiny Legendary Edition and then another $30 for Rise of Iron.
Give people a break. If you see someone complaining about it, just ignore it, no need to kick them while they're down.
Guardians need to stand together instead of yelling at each other over which plastic box plays our games.

Guess people don't realize that it's pointless for them to dish out content for systems that won't be produced/sold soon anymore
-
4 RespuestasYou know what it is? "They're holding back the video game industry with their inferior technology!" Now is that PS4/Xbone users talking about PS3/360 users? Or the PC Master Race about Consoles in general? Stare into the void long enough, and the void stares back.
-
It's actually $300 plus you know summer prices and E3.
-
because if I was one of them I wouldn't be crying about it. I'd just say 'well I guess I'll do something else'
-
4 RespuestasBecause you guys won't stop complaining. I want to see a glorious Destiny game nkt held back by anything and you dudes don't
-
People being assholes on the Internet...nah
-
I'm not rude to people on last Gen. I hope that answers your question.

10 Respuestas360 user here. I knew this day was coming. I was hoping I had one more year. I get the fact that last gen consoles might be limiting some aspects of Destiny gameplay, so I can understand why some are happy about the change, but I don't get the outright hate and rage at last gen users. Why?

Editado por Kopi_Snipes96: 6/13/2016 8:57:39 PMIt's not necessarily me being rude, it's more being annoyed by how salty they're all being about it.

3 RespuestasI've been looking for a comment like this legitimately every comment ive seen toward the old gen new gen argument has been new gen roasting the old brutally Yes it's an old system and yes it needed to be dropped eventually but do you have to drop it down a flight of stairs to do so ?
-
I wouldn't say I'm anti last gen. However, when the PS4 first came out I took my PS3 into GameStop and traded up which only cost me $200 total. Now some people cant do that which is understandable. But there are ways around the money barriers.

2 RespuestasI think the false sense of superiority fills an empty void somewhere in their life.

No one is anti last-gen per se, i think you'll find most people owned ps3's or a 360 or both, which i did. In saying that, 90% have apparently made the transition to current-gen, and those who haven't are holding back everyone that has, like it or not that's the truth. Last gen doesnt even have the grunt to make the touch of malice spin, its had its day in the sun but now it needs to go, people hang sh*t on last genners because they hold us back.
-
4 RespuestasYea I don't see why people are so in your face about it. I'm XB1 but I still understand why it sucks that not everyone can drop 600$ to upgrade and switch before the launch of RoI. Feel bad for you guys but if you have to save up and end up joining us a bit later post-update, il be here for you guys to help you gear up asap

People always over exaggerate everything. I think most people are just happy that Bungie is finally going to focus on current generation hardware. It's about time, these "current" consoles are nearly 3 years old now. That used to be half of a console's lifespan. By now most developers have the ability to get most out of the "new" hardware in the current-gen consoles. So maybe Bungie wanted to do some things with the graphics in this new area that the old consoles simply could not handle. We deserve to see the full potential of Destiny and if that means leaving behind the old consoles, that's fine. Last generation consoles got 2 full years worth of content and updates. And up to this point people have been able to freely hop back and forth between last gen and current gen consoles. Separating them could possibly free up some servers and they could be used as dedicated servers for PvP matchmaking (Crucible). This could open up the possibly of custom games and eliminate lag and many other issues that have plagued the Crucible lately. All of that is wishful thinking of course.

3 RespuestasSome people are rude because they lack education, as simple as that.

I'm triggered!!!!

2 RespuestasDestiny 2 DLC for Scorpio and Neo only. I'm sorry don't hurt me please! It was a joke! A joooookkkkeeeee!!!
*Dies*
In all seriousness though, last gen is holding the game back. However with Bungie dropping them they better get their shit together and smack Y3 off with a bang. They have an entire wish list and demands they basically blamed on last gen for not being in the game. Let's see how they fair when they tune all their attention directly into next gen.

1 RespuestaMost of these people are kids or childish people that were pretty much taught by their rather terrible parents that it is ok to mock, abuse, and chastise those that have it worse than them. Ever see that one asshole that tell his kids "Make sure to go to college or you will end up like this loser" while in home depo or any other store? Well that's their offspring with a worse attitude. I've seen -blam!-ing kids from 10-24 stealing shit from the homeless and acting like it's ok or not a big deal.

There are probably several reasons for current generation players' in your face attitude when it comes to dropping last generation systems. One being, as many have pointed out, that some of current generation players did not work to pay for their systems, and so don't understand the prospect of working and saving. Another is that some people blame Destiny's shortcomings on the last generation consoles. That being said, Xbox 360 and PS4 are both out of production now, and they're 10 year old systems, I'm honestly surprised that people didn't see this coming. Why would a video game producer continue to support a system that isn't in production anymore? Heck, Sony and Microsoft are talking about the next generation already. Any mature person can't not feel bad for those that have to drop a few hundred dollars on a new system just to enjoy Rise of Iron, but unfortunately these forums are mostly populated by pre-pubescent clowns and idiot trolls.

6 RespuestasThumbs up. I bet the people being rude about it are the same people that abuse animals. Sociopaths who lack compassion.
-
I was always rude, last generation being around has halted graphical progress for far too long. I'm glad microsoft are putting out a 4k console next year, it's good to see things finally going in the right direction.

Only last gen people I've argued with are the ones that assume I pay no bills, live in my parents basement , and have no kids. It's like they think there's no such thing as financially stable adult
